QUIT WEARING BOYS' COLORS!

You might think beige, olive, and blue are great colors because they're fashionable or match your "color season." But fashionable is just another euphemism for retarded, and "color seasons" are fake science. I'll explain in this thread.

When men create visual representations of attractive women they use a VERY SPECIFIC COLOR PALETTE. I've counted up hundreds of examples and tabulated them so you don't have to. You can see them in this chart. And I'll explain in more detail below.

The chart overstates the value of black and blue due to their specific popularity in lingerie and jeans respectively. So it's more informative to break it down further.

Here are the most attractive colors for each type of clothing.

As you can see, denim blue is great for jeans. BUT blue is not a great color for women anywhere else. Baby blue is okay, but primary and navy blues are distinctly unspectacular.

Pink is obviously a great color for women. In imaginative representations, men even like it in hair.

However, don't rush to dye your hair pink. Outside an artistic context, men today report a strong preference for naturally occurring hair colors. This may be a matter of fashion that could change in the future, but for now pink hair is too much risk for too little reward.

"Pink" can be broadly defined, and I would count pale lavenders in the same category. This dress is excellent.

Before I continue I'd like to head off doubts about my data. You might think the men who create representations of attractive women are lazy or don't know what they're doing. That's not the case, it's just a dumb excuse to dismiss some VERY CLEAR-CUT and USEFUL information.

Here are examples of an artist who likes wild colors for their own sake. But he's in a small minority. Most men like the same boring set of colors that I've already listed.

Is this thread really necessary? Yes. Women today ROUTINELY wear ugly colors and are ROUTINELY told that those ugly colors are fashionable. Most women are getting it wrong.

Erotic representations of women sometimes choose ugly colors on purpose. But they don't do this because they're pretty. They do it to create an interesting contrast or tell a story. Can you describe the story this artist likes to tell?

Even when women do wear attractive colors they often miss the mark. This happens the most with red. Not all reds are created equal.

You've probably heard of "color seasons." This seasons system is supposed to tell you the best colors for your complexion so you don't have to worry about developing any aesthetic sense yourself. Unfortunately it's WRONG.

To understand why the seasons system is wrong, ask yourself whether hot pink looks equally well on men and women who have the SAME complexion.

The answer is NO. Obviously.

Your natural coloration doesn't affect the most attractive colors as much as people believe.

Now we've come to the most important rule about color.

AVOID CAMO AND FLESH TONES.

AVOID!!!

PLEASE!!!

STOP WEARING BOYS COLORS

Even if you look like this!

Flesh tones are bad anywhere, but they're ESPECIALLY bad for lingerie.

Flesh-colored lingerie is DISTINCTLY UNATTRACTIVE.

Good lingerie colors are, in order:

Black, pink, white, red.

My controversial recommendation is that it's almost always better to let it bleed than wear flesh-colored lingerie.

No, you don't have to go that far.

Are you afraid red is too bold a color for you to wear?

It works great in small touches. Even a tiny red accent makes a big difference.

Even if you want to be loud, there's no reason to wear neon bikinis. As far as I can tell men don't like them. And guess what: women aren't impressed by your neon bikini either.

Gray is an OKAY color but its easily overdone.

Once again, artists use washed-out grays for storytelling, not because it looks exciting. Wearing these pale grays all the time is not going to present you at your most beautiful.

Do you have to wear pink, black, red, and white ALL the time?

Pink, black, red, and white are the most attractive colors but other colors are also good--for the sake of variety.

These variety colors work a little better for redheads than everyone else, but you shouldn't take that too far.

In sum:

-Wear white, black, pink, and red the most.
-Avoid camo and flesh tones.
-Don't overdo grays and blues.
-Wear the remaining colors for variety.

Most women today wear WAY too much beige, gray, blue, and green.

STOP WEARING BOYS COLORS!!!

Even if they're "fashionable"!
