πŸ† With the year coming to a close, it's time to celebrate some of the transwomen (also known as "men") who have won in women's cycling in 2024.

These males are an oppressed minority, yet they're brave enough to show up to women's bike races and WIN.

πŸ§΅πŸ‘‡

Arya Elowen, formerly known as Michael Pillman, took some women's cat 4 wins in Colorado. He even took the women's cat 4 crit championship title!

I wonder why this talented athlete never won during his years of racing in the men's 4s.

Kylie (Kyle) Small is no stranger to the top women's podium step. Here he is at the Littleton Twilight Crit and the Maverick Classic.

(The top podium step was considerably more elusive when he was racing against fellow males.)

Lesley (Wesley) Mumford had a great 2024 women's cyclocross season in Colorado.

Remember when "Prim Rose" won the beginner women's category at the Echo Red mountain bike race? He was so proud!

Cara (Cameron) Dixon was lauded as being the "first place woman" at Badlands 2024.

Interesting fact: Dixon is male.

Here's male Claire (Ivan) Law winning the women's cat 3 circuit race at the Tucson Bicycle Classic.

Katheryn "KJ" (James) Phillips takes women's masters podiums pretty frequently. He's obviously a very talented athlete when it comes to women's masters bike racing.

"Chloe Spritz" has taken a LOT of women's wins this season. For some reason he didn't win as much when he raced as Cole Sprague in the men's category.

"Sofia" Zarate looked very proud to take the women's win at El Rey de la Montana in Mexico.

Adriana (Gerrit) Postema took the win for @ucdavis in the women's collegiate C at the Cat's Hill Crit.

Eva (Matthew) Kloiber took some women's gravel wins this season.

You might recognize Tessa (Michael) Johnson from his cyclocross and track wins. But did you know that he also takes women's cat 3/4 wins on the road?

Remember when the "first women-only downhill race" was held in Oregon?

Oh, also, remember when a man won first place and prize money in the pro/open category in that race?

Here's Ash (Max) Fierek on the top step.

Robin Chapman (Robert Harris) is a newcomer to women's bike racing in the PNW. He still took some wins, though! Here he is in the leader's jersey for the women's 4/5 in the Seward Park series.

Here's Eva "Henry" Lin on the top step at the Helen Poole 4th of July crit in Davis, California.

Henrietta (Henry) Watts is always proud to stand on a women's podium.

Averi Firari made up the female half of the winning m/f team at the Appalachian Journey gravel race. Interestingly, Averi Firari is a male who once went by the name "David Flaten."

Jenna (Jimmy) Lingwood is really good at women's cycling. Here he is beating two teammates to take the women's 1/2 win at Starcrossed.

Zoey (Zakkary) Marks hasn't been racing for long, but he has taken quite a few women's wins. He's just really good at women's crits and road races.

Antonia (Mattias) Saelzer seems to constantly be on podiums in women's downhill mountain bike racing. He took the overall women's win in the Deache Series in 2024.

Catherine (Nicholas) Barnwell is a relative newcomer to the sport, but he has had quite a few women's wins and podiums.

Here's Jordan Lothrop in πŸ₯‡ at the Pacific GP in Canada. Like so many other men in women's cycling, Lothrop's results improved when he switched to racing in the women's category.

Skyler (Daniel) Lemay was very proud to take first place in the women's TT at the Swift Summit NW.

Here's Jacqueline (Jacob) Mautner with the win in the women's 41-50 category at Grinduro Pennsylvania 2024.

Austin Killips set the women's record on the Tour Divide this year. He also won the women's 100 mile at Grounded Nebraska.
