./ Pride Shock Update!
In TOTALLY unexpected news a Pride group founder has been accused of plotting to kidnap and rape children from schools and swimming pool changing rooms. Despite the fact he provided DEI advice to dozens of firms. And @SurreyPolice.

./ Indeed only 6 months before he was arrested Ireland short-listed @SurreyPolice for his Surrey Pride award as 'Progressive Business of the Year'. The relationship between Ireland and his local police was quite the close one. You could even say it was...diverse and inclusive.

./ Stephen Ireland must be considered innocent unless he is found guilty. And so here is an image of him looking very innocent during a photo shoot with @SurreyPolice and their new rainbow coloured Pride car. Ireland is the one at the back who is innocently not in uniform.

./ One reason I find it hard to process these charges is Ireland and his partner (who are alleged to have exchanged messages referring to themselves as pedos) were such regular presenters on @transradiouk, the UK's major trans media outlet and therefore totally above suspicion.

./ Another reason I can't get my head round these allegations is Ireland worked with schools across Surrey including Broadwater which specialises in vulnerable children with special needs. I'm not sure if they have a swimming pool. They do have an LGBTQ group though. Naturally.

./ The good news is that Surrey Pride offered plenty of children-friendly services including "regular monthly drop in for LGBTQ+ parents and parents of LGBTQ+ children". Adults could "chat with likeminded parents". Let's hope these were excitingly liberating conversations.

./ In yet other good news, Ireland was connected to some of the most respectable luminaries of the LGBTQ+ universe. People like Nancy Kelley who was CEO of Stonewall when the giant, bullying charity argued two year olds could know they were transgender. Naturally....🤔

./ Ireland also stood up for ex-MP Crispin Blunt, a much misunderstood man, who tried to get local Police Commissioner Lisa Townsend fired for defending women and girls' safety. Blunt would later defend his friend, the convicted paedophile Imran Khan MP. But nobody's perfect.🤷‍♂️

./ Whatever the trial outcome I'm sure -beyond the shadow of a doubt- the LGBTQ+ lobby will emerge unscathed from this trial. Its incredibly tough child safeguarding must have ensured there was no risk at all from, say, Pride Surrey's 'Inclusaur' merchandise aimed at children.

./ Some cynics argue LGBTQ+ activists like Ireland are given a free pass because they are gay or trans (or whatever Q+ means). That seems so ...terribly unlikely. I mean it's impossible to believe @BBCSurrey would fail to interrogate properly anyone they constantly platformed.

./ The same must be true of @LindaRiley8 whose Pride Power List 2021 included Ireland. Like the unimpeachable BBC or genius that is @LindaRiley8 it's hard to imagine @Surreyfostering would platform or collaborate with someone they were not certain posed no risk to children. 👇

./ What's not in doubt is that for a decade Ireland championed the same agenda as the rest of the LGBTQ+ movement. Trans obsessed, puberty blocker pushing, woman-hating and free speech denying Ireland is their perfect emblem. If he does go down so should the rest of them.
