"Everyone is predicting the 'end of the world', and nothing ever happens," said a common villager in the year 536. Then, three volcanoes erupted consecutively, ushering the world into the so-called 'Dark Ages,' killing almost half of the world's population.

But what signs appeared in the sky? Here, I'm going to show you the possible planetary alignment that warned astrologers about what was coming... (1/11)🧵

In 476 AD, when the Western Roman Empire fell and the world entered into the Dark Ages, Polaris became the North Star around 500 AD.

This period, known as the 'Late Antique Little Ice Age' (~536–660 AD), marked some of the coldest winters in the last 2,000 years, accompanied by numerous volcanic eruptions.

In 536 AD, one of the largest volcanic eruptions in recorded history triggered a global climate catastrophe. Ash and aerosols in the atmosphere caused a 'volcanic winter,' leading to significant cooling and widespread crop failures. But now it gets interesting... (2/11)🧵

A massive volcanic eruption (possibly in Iceland or Central America) occurred around 536 AD, releasing ash and sulfur into the atmosphere.

Contemporary records from China, Europe, and the Middle East describe a mysterious fog that dimmed the sun for over 18 months. The Byzantine historian Procopius wrote that "the sun gave forth its light without brightness, like the moon, during the whole year."

Chinese sources mention summer snow and crop failures, devastating the food supply. Low temperatures, even snow during the summer (snow reportedly fell in August in China, which caused the harvest there to be delayed). (3/11)🧵

Additional volcanic eruptions in 540 and 547 AD prolonged the cooling and famine for another decade. The 539–540 AD eruption of Ilopango in El Salvador was one of the largest eruptions in the past 2,000 years. It led to further climate disruptions, extending the 'volcanic winter.'

The map shows 20 locations worldwide where climate change (blue bars) and societal disruptions (green bars) occurred during the Late Antique Little Ice Age (536–600 AD). It illustrates how volcanic-induced cooling impacted different regions, with some societies experiencing greater social collapse than expected based on temperature change alone, suggesting other contributing factors like political instability or resource shortages. During this time, 75% of the population of the Northern Wei Dynasty in China died.

Due to the harsh conditions, a plague killed one-third of the population in the Byzantine Empire in Europe, and in Mesoamerica, the entire population of the great city of Teotihuacan perished.

Between 80 and 120 million people died during this time, while the world population was around 190–200 million. (5/11)🧵

The most affected areas were the densely populated communities that depended on structured society. And if the same event were to occur today, there would be even more deaths because the majority of the population lives in big cities.

Vedic astrology considers the alignment of all seven classical planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn) in one zodiac sign to be an exceedingly rare event. Such configurations (sometimes called Sapta Graha Yoga or seven-planet conjunction) are believed to portend major changes or upheavals.

Conjunctions of five or more planets are “very dangerous” and often coincide with world upheavals, especially if they include slow-moving planets Jupiter and Saturn.

And such a planetary alignment occurred in June of 531 AD when all seven original astrological bodies aligned in the constellation of Gemini.

People think that these events happen suddenly on the same day, but the stars are meant for the seasons and as signs in the sky—they announce what is coming over a longer period. The forces of the planets cause slow geophysical changes.

In 531, the deadly Byzantine-Persian wars occurred. Just a few years after the 531 alignment, the world was struck by an environmental disaster. In 536 CE, a mysterious dust veil dimmed the Sun and caused global cooling, leading to crop failures and famine. Modern research attributes this to massive volcanic eruptions, resulting in the coldest decade in 2,000 years.

This was followed by a few more giant eruptions. The climate upheaval was soon followed by one of history’s deadliest pandemics. In 541 CE, the Plague of Justinian erupted (an early outbreak of bubonic plague), eventually killing millions across the Eastern Roman Empire, Persia, and the Mediterranean.

Astrologically inclined historians have noted that these crises unfolded not long after the extraordinary alignment in Gemini.

In my previous threads, I have shown you the alignments in Capricorn that are associated with the Great Flood. The last one is still in play because it occurred in 1962, which was the exact moment when the pole shift accelerated toward Siberia.

There was another Capricorn alignment in 4018 BC, coinciding with the desertification of the Sahara, the Y-chromosome bottleneck—when 19 out of 20 male lineages went extinct—and a geomagnetic excursion.

257 years after that alignment, the age of the Bible began, along with the Jewish calendar, which places year one at 3761 BC.
