Israel saw a 24 percent increase in children and teenagers treated by authorities after being sexually abused from 2019 to 2020, according to Welfare Ministry figures released Tuesday.
During 2020 — when many people stayed home much more than normal due to the COVID-19 pandemic — welfare authorities dealt with 2,839 minors who said they had been sexually abused, compared with 2,285 during 2019, according to the ministry.

According to the data, 10% of the victims were aged 3-6, 44% were 7-12 and 46% were 13-17. Until puberty age the ratio of boys and girls among the victims is similar, while most teenage victims are female. In total, 60% of the victims were female.

'Systematic failure': Over 80% of sex offense cases in Israel closed

Although the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel received 17,484 new complaints of incidents of sex offenses in 2023, just 6,405 cases of sex offenses and sexual harassment were opened by police in 2023, according to the ARCCI’s 2023 yearly report.

The types of complaints made to police and the ARCCI were also different, further highlighting the potential underreporting of sex offenses to law enforcement. The most common type of offense ARCCI complaints were made about was incest, representing 36% of all complaints. When looking at complaints made about crimes against children, 70% were about incest. The next most common offense type was rape, composing 28% of complaints.

When looking at complaints made to police, however, the majority were made about indecent acts, with sexual harassment being the second most common offense.

In 11% of complaints made to the ARCCI, the offender was the victim’s parent; in 25% of cases, it was another relative; and in nearly 20% of complaints, the perpetrator was a friend or acquaintance of the victim. Only in 8% of cases was the culprit a stranger to the victim.

Perhaps the best known cases are of course the systematic rape of Palestinian prisoners in the torture camp Sde Teiman.

‘Everything is legitimate’: Israeli leaders defend soldiers accused of rape

Israeli society is divided over the arrest of 10 soldiers for the brutal gang rape of a Palestinian prisoner caught on video.

Video has emerged of a gang rape of a Palestinian prisoner by guards at the Sde Teiman detention facility in the Negev desert, southern Israel.

The video, which has been verified by Al Jazeera, shows the prisoner being selected from a larger group lying bound on the floor. The victim is then escorted to a wall, where guards, using their shields to hide their identity from the camera, proceed to rape him.

The attack is believed to have been so brutal that, after he was transferred to hospital, Israeli media reported that the victim was unable to walk.

Ten soldiers were ultimately arrested for the rape on July 29, in a case that has rocked Israeli society. The soldiers belong to a unit known as Force 100, which is tasked with guarding the Sde Teiman facility, according to Haaretz.

Military prosecutors released three of the arrested soldiers on August 4, adding to the two previously released by investigators following a military court hearing in Kfar Yona on July 30, at which protesters gathered in support of the soldiers under arrest.

Israeli Cyber CEO Arrested for Child Sexual Abuse of five children under the age of four.

Itay Levy, CEO of the cyber firm Cornelius and a resident of Modi’in in his 50s, has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing minors [Pedophilia]. The investigation began after a child under the age of four signaled to his parents that he had been harmed.

Following a forensic interview, police searched Levy’s electronic devices and uncovered hundreds of disturbing files, including child pornography and images of abuse. Authorities suspect at least five victims, all under the age of four. The investigation is ongoing.

Here’s a case of a former Rabbi of a ‘Progressive’ Synagogue, who was also a director of Leo Baeck College in London.

The synagogue was affiliated to Liberal Judaism, and is, thus, Zionist:

Yuval Keren, the former rabbi of Southgate Progressive Synagogue, has received a 20-month suspended jail sentence for possession of hundreds of indecent images of children.
The term, imposed by Harrow Crown Court on Wednesday, has been suspended for 24 months.
Keren, who was suspended from his rabbinic post after the National Crime Agency launched an investigation in July 2022, was also ordered to do 180 hours of community service and will be subject a sexual harm order restricting his activities for five years.
NCA officers acted after online storage producer Dropbox reported a user uploading suspicious images.
He was arrested at his home in Pinner and several devices were seized.
A total of 1,694 indecent images of children of which 189 fell in the most extreme category A, the NCA said. The images went back to 2010.
Keren pleaded guilty to all charges in October, which included one count of possession of an "extreme pornographic" image.
Prosecuting counsel said that he had shown “what would appear genuine remorse”.
Holly Triggs, operations manager of NCA, said, “Yuval Keren had accessed images showing the horrific abuse of children for over 10 years.

Rabbi Yitzchok Groner died just in time. He was a dominating figure in Melbourne’s Jewish world, a mountain of a man with inexhaustible energy, deep religious learning and a stare that stopped grown men in their tracks.

As the Melbourne emissary of the Chabad-Lubavitch leader Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, Groner’s authority was absolute. He spent 50 years building the Yeshivah sect into a wealthy, powerful and very private community of several hundred families living around a busy synagogue and thriving schools at a campus on Hotham Street, East St Kilda.
Yeshivah is ultra Orthodox: fundamentalist, intellectual and charismatic. God created the world in six days. Families are big. Sex is never discussed. Modesty is everything. Men and women mark their days with prayer and ritual. Instead of dying in the face of the modern world, old-fashioned, rule-bound Chabad-Lubavitch Judaism flourished.

Groner died in the winter of 2008, but his power didn’t die with him. To question his authority – indeed his saintliness – after his death, was considered a particularly grave sin among the Chabad. Protecting his memory were the rabbis he had trained and sent out into the wider Jewish world, and the interlocking mesh of Chabad families that seemed to make everyone at Yeshivah the son-in-law, nephew or sister of everyone else.

A couple of months after Groner’s death, news broke that David Kramer had been sentenced to seven years in prison in St Louis, Missouri, for molesting children at a youth camp where he was supposed to be teaching “Hot topics for Jewish teens”. The story died in Australia for the time being, but from this point, a number of Chabad leaders, teachers and parents knew an appalling scandal threatened Yeshivah.

Kramer had taught at the Yeshivah primary school in late 1989. The young American rabbi was immediately popular and immediately began molesting children. The number of his victims is not known, perhaps dozens, including two of the sons of Zephaniah Waks.

Waks was a most unwise man to cross. The Waks name is all through this story. Tenacity runs in the family. Half measures aren’t in their DNA. Their sense of right and wrong is strong and personal. As the father of 17 children, Zephaniah Waks had more than proved his dedication to Chabad. But in the end those children would mean more to him than any obligations to the sect.

Waks discovered the abuse in 1992. He says he complained to the principal of the Yeshivah school, Rabbi Abraham Glick. Within hours, Waks learned that Kramer had admitted the abuse. When he wasn’t fired, Waks says, he confronted Glick again, only to be told: “There is a danger of self-harm. So we can’t fire him.”

Glick doesn’t deny learning about Kramer at this point, but can’t recall discussing the teacher’s fate with Waks. He told the royal commission: “I think he had that conversation or a similar conversation most probably with someone else.”

Waks was outraged by the failure to act. He didn’t call the police because at this time he had no doubt that doing so “would be in breach of the Jewish principle of mesirah”. This ancient rule, still alive among the followers of many faiths including Judaism, threatens believers with expulsion if they take crimes within the faith to the civil authorities.

Waks called a meeting of parents hoping to pressure the school to sack Kramer. Hours before it was due to begin, he was told Kramer had been dismissed. What he did not discover until years later was that Groner had given Kramer an air ticket to Israel, on condition he leave Australia immediately.

Zionism and rape have an elective affinity.

In 1973, when Barry Singer was a fifteen-year-old student at New York’s Yeshiva University High School for Boys, the vice principal, Rabbi George Finkelstein, stopped him in a stairwell. Claiming he wanted to check his tzitzit—the strings attached to Singer’s prayer shawl—Finkelstein, Singer says, pushed the boy over the third-floor banister, in full view of his classmates, and reached down his pants. “If he’s not wearing tzitzit,” Finkelstein told the surrounding children, “he’s going over the stairs!”

“He played it as a joke, but I was completely at his mercy,” Singer recalled. For the rest of his time at Yeshiva, Singer would often wear his tzitzit on the outside of his shirt—though this was regarded as rebellious—for fear that Finkelstein might find an excuse to assault him again.

Jay Goldberg, who attended Yeshiva from 1980 to 1984, says that he endured years of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse from Finkelstein. The rabbi, he said, forced him and others to wrestle with him while he became sexually aroused, and demanded that they hit him repeatedly. Neither Goldberg nor Singer ever reported Finkelstein’s behavior to the school; when one student, identified in a future lawsuit as John Doe 14, finally did, in 1986, Finkelstein allegedly pulled him out of class in a rage, shoved him against a wall, punched him, and threatened him with expulsion. The school took no action during those years other than removing Finkelstein’s office door. In 1991, he was promoted to principal.

During those same decades, another Yeshiva rabbi, Macy Gordon, was also reportedly sexually abusing students. One accuser, identified in the lawsuit as John Doe 2, claims that Gordon sodomized him in his dorm room in 1980. The rabbi “said he was going to punish me for missing class,” the accuser told me. “He laid me across his lap and took my toothbrush and plowed it in and out of my rectum, and it burned. I remember it burned for a very long time after. I can’t go back in time and tell you what I was thinking, but I can only tell you that it lasts forever.” He told me that Gordon also sprayed Chloraseptic on his genitals, remarking that he showed “signs,” by which Gordon meant signs of puberty. Later that year, John Doe 2 tried to kill himself.

In total, Finkelstein and Gordon are suspected of hundreds of acts of sexual abuse at Yeshiva, though they never faced any legal repercussions. Finkelstein was discreetly forced out of Yeshiva in 1995 but quickly found work as the dean of a Jewish day school in Florida and later as the director general of the Great Synagogue in Jerusalem, although allegations of abuse followed him to each of these new positions.

Gordon, for his part, enjoyed a thirty-plus-year career at Yeshiva. He also eventually moved to Jerusalem, where, according to the New York Times, he served alongside Finkelstein on the advisory board of the National Council of Young Israel, an organization promoting Orthodox Judaism to liberal American Jews. (The current president of the organization claims that neither rabbi had been involved with the group “to my knowledge.”) In 2002, Dr. Jonathan Zizmor—a celebrity dermatologist whose advertisements were a staple of New York City subway cars for decades—set up a $250,000 scholarship fund in Gordon’s name for future generations of Yeshiva students. (Zizmor claims he knew nothing of the abuse at the time, and when allegations surfaced, he maintained that Gordon was “a great teacher, a great man.”)

In 2013, thirty-four of Finkelstein’s and Gordon’s victims—including Singer, Goldberg, John Doe 14, and John Doe 2—filed a $680 million lawsuit against Yeshiva, alleging that sexual misconduct occurred for decades with the knowledge of the administration and without recourse for victims or punishment for the perpetrators. But by the time the suit was filed, the statute of limitations had expired, and the case was dismissed.

This past February, however, the governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, signed the Child Victims Act (C.V.A.), which modifies the state’s statute of limitations such that many cases previously dismissed because of the length of time since the alleged crime can now be relitigated. As of this writing, attorneys for the former Yeshiva students—now numbering forty-one—planned to refile the lawsuit with new evidence on August 14, the day the law was scheduled to go into effect. Their hope, one of the attorneys, Michael Dowd, told me, is for Yeshiva to “finally be held accountable for their craven, repugnant, and unconscionable behavior in letting known sexual predators have unfettered access to scores of innocent and unsuspecting boys.” But even if they succeed, it’s far from certain whether the C.V.A. will be able to fundamentally change the culture of secrets and lies that has given rise to scandals such as the one at Yeshiva in the first place.

Then of course there is the Lev Tahor cult. Started in 'Israel', it moved to Canada and the US and was eventually chased out to Mexico and Guatemala. It's 'anti-Zionist'. By which we mean 'Jewish supremacist'. We all need to get used to thinking through the fact that most (almost all) Hasidic anti-Zionist groups are in fact Jewish supremacist groups (including the Satmar).

Anyway, Lev Tahor is reportedly involved in mass abuse of children in their care. Obviously the Zionists are not fans of this 'anti-Zionist' group and attack it. But that is clearly not the only issue with the group.

Guatemalan authorities have intensified their investigation into Lev Tahor, a controversial Jewish sect accused of human trafficking and child abuse, following the arrest of one of its senior members, according to press reports. Yoel Alter, 35, was detained earlier this week outside a government-run center for minors in Guatemala City, according to the TRT World. The arrest was carried out in coordination with Interpol, and authorities confirmed that he is wanted in Mexico for human trafficking. He is expected to be extradited soon. The crackdown follows a major operation in Oratorio, southeast of Guatemala City, where authorities separated 148 children from their parents, citing severe abuse, including rape.

The children remain in protective custody while investigations continue. “Based on the statements of the complainants, the evidence obtained, and the medical examinations, it was possible to establish that there are forms of human trafficking against these minors, such as forced marriage, abuse, and related crimes,” said Nancy Paiz, a prosecutor with Guatemala’s Office Against Human Trafficking. Authorities also accuse some of the group’s young mothers of deliberately starving their children under orders from Lev Tahor leaders to pressure the government.

Lev Tahor under global scrutiny

Founded in the 1980s in Israel, Lev Tahor has moved between countries, including the US, Canada, and Latin America, in an effort to evade law enforcement. The sect has been accused of child marriages, trafficking, and abuse, with several leaders arrested in recent years. The Jewish Community of Guatemala has distanced itself from Lev Tahor, supporting authorities in their efforts to “protect the lives and integrity of minors and other vulnerable groups.”

Investigations into the sect’s activities are underway.

Tens of thousands of pedophiles operate in Israel every year, leading to about 100,000 victims annually, according to an Israeli pedophile monitoring association.

The Matzof Association, an organization that actively keeps track of reports on pedophiles in various media and centralizes the data monthly, states that in July alone, 22 cases of pedophilia were reported in Israel and brought to the attention of the media. The vast majority go unreported.

"In Israel, tens of thousands of pedophiles operate on a daily basis without any problem," said Eliran Malki, head of the Matzof Association.

"They are not deterred by the police and certainly not deterred by the contemptuous rulings that come from the hands of judges in the various courts," he added, citing an incident in which one particular pedophile was let off by the courts without punishment, despite evidence of thousands of pedophilic items found on his computer, as the court stated that it would "harm his career."

The court does not count the number of victims, and shows disproportionately favorable treatment of the perpetrators, according to Malki.

The association gathers reports from the media in order to form statistics, as no public sex offender registry in Israel currently exists.

"Matzof will continue to report and follow these trends month after month. Statistics tell the story of the victims, and they are living proof why we must fight for the establishment of a public pedophile database," he added.

Tel Aviv — It's a tense stakeout, waiting for Jimmy Julius Karow to appear. He is a wanted man and is considered dangerous. Accused of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl in Oregon in 2000, he fled to Israel before authorities in the U.S. could apprehend him or figure out where he went. Karow has been running from U.S. law enforcement ever since. Currently INTERPOL, an inter-governmental policing organization that works with 194 countries, has a Red Notice to alert police worldwide that he's a fugitive.

Two years after he fled the U.S., Karow was convicted by an Israeli court of child molestation in a separate case. He served time and was released. Now another alleged Israeli victim has come forward, saying he began abusing her when she was 5-years-old, and continued for years.

JCW says Karow and other wanted men and women have been able to exploit a right known as the Law of Return, whereby any Jewish person can move to Israel and automatically gain citizenship.

Since the small organization started tracking accused pedophiles in 2014, it says more than 60 have fled from the U.S. to Israel. Given its limited resources to identify these individuals, JCW says the actual number is likely much larger.

"The same thing that is going on in the Catholic Church right now around the world, the exact same thing is happening in our community," JCW's founder Meyer Seewald told CBS News. "The cover-ups are the same, the stigma, the shame."

Seewald says tightly-knit Jewish communities across the U.S. will sometimes meet accusations against a member with incredulity, and that can have a chilling effect.

Karow has successfully evaded authorities by moving between communities in Israel for almost two decades, and he is not alone.

A widespread problem

A CBS News investigation has found that many accused American pedophiles flee to Israel, and bringing them to justice can be difficult.

Jewish Community Watch (JCW), an American organization that tracks accused pedophiles, has been trying for years to find Karow and help bring him to justice.

JCW says Karow and other wanted men and women have been able to exploit a right known as the Law of Return, whereby any Jewish person can move to Israel and automatically gain citizenship.

Since the small organization started tracking accused pedophiles in 2014, it says more than 60 have fled from the U.S. to Israel. Given its limited resources to identify these individuals, JCW says the actual number is likely much larger.

"The same thing that is going on in the Catholic Church right now around the world, the exact same thing is happening in our community," JCW's founder Meyer Seewald told CBS News. "The cover-ups are the same, the stigma, the shame."

Seewald says tightly-knit Jewish communities across the U.S. will sometimes meet accusations against a member with incredulity, and that can have a chilling effect.

"Everyone goes and surrounds this individual and supports him because they can't believe a person can do such a crime. They take the abuser's side and the abuse continues," Seewald says. "They put him in another community. A few years later, he's done the same thing and we hear more allegations that the person is abusing children. Victims don't want to come forward when they see that."

JCW says the majority of its cases originate from modern Orthodox to Ultra-orthodox Jewish enclaves in the U.S., but that it happens across the wider Jewish community. Because perpetrators can't be held accountable unless victims come forward, many cases are believed to go unreported. To try to get them out into the light, JCW holds awareness events across the U.S., and offers victims of sexual abuse advice and emotional support.

Mendy Hauck decided to come forward after receiving support from JCW. The father of two says he was just 8-years-old when he was molested by a teacher at his Orthodox Jewish School in Los Angeles. Hauck says the abuse started one day when a friend brought in cookies for his birthday.

"I actually went ahead and reached for the biggest cookie and he said, 'Put it back and you could come back by recess and get your cookie,'" Hauck said. "So after he handed out the rest of the cookies to the other classmates, I had to stay behind if I wanted my cookie, and I did. He called me up to his desk... and that's when he started... rubbing me."

His alleged abuser is Mordechai Yomtov, a then-35-year-old Hebrew teacher.

"I jumped backwards like a step or two and he grabbed my hair and said, 'it's fine, you can come close. I won't hurt you. There is nothing wrong,' and he did it again," Hauck recalls.

Sophie was excited to go on her first holiday with friends to Ayia Napa. But what was meant to be a carefree celebration for her 20th birthday quickly turned into every woman’s worst nightmare.

On September 3, 2023, a week after arriving at the party hotspot popular with British teenagers, she was allegedly abducted, pinned down and raped by five Israeli men after being dragged from a pool party into their hotel room.
The ordeal has, she told The Sunday Times in her first interview, “ruined my life”.

“I don’t like doing anything any more. I struggle to even get up and go to my work in the winter when it’s dark. I don’t like going out any more. I just feel like it’s ruined every aspect of my life,” said Sophie (not her real name).
The five Israeli men, aged 19 and 20, were arrested the same day as the alleged attack and later charged with abduction, sexual harassment and rape. All insisted the sex was consensual, a defence Sophie’s lawyer has described as “preposterous” as she is openly gay and had never before been physically intimate with a man.

Last month, Cypriot judges returned a not guilty verdict and the five defendants were free to return home to the northern Israeli town of Majd al-Krum, about 11 miles from the Lebanon border.
“It was devastating, I still can’t believe it,” said Sophie, now 21, from Scotland. “I honestly never thought there was a chance they were going to get away. It’s frustrating to know they are just going to go back to their normal lives and they have ruined mine.”

And, this case is not the first incident of gang rape by Zionist tourists in Cyprus.

There’s an infamous previous case which is at least as vile. In 2019 a British woman was taped and the perpetrators cleared, following which she was herself prosecuted for making a false claim.

Here is the Times report (mentioned in the previous post) reflecting back on that case:

Sophie’s story bears striking similarity to the 2019 case of a woman from Derbyshire who told police she was gang-raped by 12 Israeli men while on holiday in Ayia Napa.

The woman, then 18, later retracted the allegation after being held without a lawyer for six hours and was herself charged with “causing public mischief”. She was tried and convicted, but the decision was overturned in 2022 by the Supreme Court in Cyprus.

In February the European Court of Human Rights found that the Cypriot authorities breached article 3 (lack of effective investigation) and article 8 (the right to respect for private and family life) of human rights laws during their investigation into the Derbyshire woman’s rape. She was awarded £21,500 in compensation and costs

The judges in Strasbourg criticised how her “credibility appears to have been assessed through prejudicial gender stereotypes and victim-blaming attitudes”, adding: “The case reveals certain biases concerning women in Cyprus which impeded the effective protection of the applicant’s rights as a victim of gender-based violence.”

Judge Michalis Papathanasiou, who convicted the first British woman of lying about her rape in 2019, also sat on the panel of judges that threw out Sophie’s case two weeks ago.

It’s worth remarking on the Haaretz report on the 2019 case below for two reasons. First, transparently, the horrific ‘heroes welcome’ speaks extremely badly of ‘Israeli’ society. Second note the disgusting reference to the violent gang rape as a ‘sex party’.

Now let's turn to another UK case that of a former leader of the British Zionist movement, Greville Janner, the former Labour MP, headed the Board of Deputies of British Jews for six years until 1984 and served as vice president of the World Jewish Congress until 2009. He was a very significant actor in a whole host of Zionist lobby and front groups.

Before we get into the allegations which were levelled against Janner, it is worth pausing to reflect that so far we have listed allegations against a number of ultra-orthodox Hasidic sects, both Zionist (including Chabad-Lubavitch - most famous probably for the mysterious tunnels under their HQ in Brooklyn) and apparently anti-Zionist including the Lev Tahor cult and the Satmar sect (the largest 'anti-Zionist' Hasidic group) but also against perpetrators from the 'progressive' end of the spectrum of 'Liberal Judaism'. This example encompasses two further sections of the community. Greville Janner was a member of a synagogue affiliated with the United Synagogue, which is the largest Synagogue movement in the UK, accounting for perhaps 40% of British Jews. It's a Zionist grouping. Also of relevance, as we shall see in the next post, is 'Reform Judaism', the former senior Rabbi of which was Laura Janner-Klausner, one of the daughters of the alleged perpetrator Greville Janner. She has a role worth remarking upon, given her controversial attempts to defend the reputation of her father.

Because Janner died in 2015: The Independent Inquiry on Child Sexual Abuse investigation 'did not consider whether any of the allegations were true or false. Given the focus was on the institutional response to the allegations, rather than the innocence or guilt of Lord Janner, it was neither necessary nor proportionate to call any of the complainants.'

More than thirty allegations of abuse were levelled at Jenner and considered by the Independent Inquiry. on Child Sexual Abuse. There were multiple allegations of a variety of types of sexual abuse including at least 15 complainants who alleged that they were raped by Janner, many on multiple occasions.

I don't want to list all of the allegations as they are too gruelling. Instead here is a selection of comments from those who were brave enough to come forward. {Real names used here only where the complainant waived their right to anonymity}

*JA-A23 states that before the alleged abuse he was told that if “I told anybody what happened in this room they would put me to a Boy’s home where I’d never see my mum and dad again…”

*JA-A9 stated that he kept the abuse quiet for “many many years” and tried to “bury it” but when he saw the media reporting about GJ in 2015 he could “no longer keep it inside”.

*JA-A5 states that he was made to feel what happened was “normal”.

*JA-A6 says that at the time he did not realise it was
wrong. He saw GJ as “a father figure and trusted him”.

*JA-A26 said that although he told people “snippets” of what happened to him (including a contemporaneous report to an unidentified police officer who told JA-A26 not to tell tales), but he had not previously told people about the oral sex allegations as he felt “ashamed”.

*JA-A27 states that he didn’t initially tell the officer in charge of the children’s home because “they’re not going to believe me I’m just a little kid in a Children’s Home” but he subsequently told her and she dismissed his account.

*Taylor states that she did not say anything at the time, “I just pretended that nothing happened to me…” She said although she had told her psychologist she had been abused, she did not provide the detail of the allegations until her video interview with the police.

*When identifying GJ as the person who had buggered
him, JA-A22 said that he had been afraid to previously
name GJ. When asked why he didn’t talk about it before 2014, he said “embarrassment and scared and just didn’t want anybody to know.”

*JA-A10 states he felt ashamed and embarrassed
by what had happened that “I couldn’t bring myself to tell the front office staff [at the police station] why I wanted some help. Instead I wrote out a note and showed it to the staff member.”

*JA-A8 states he didn’t tell his social worker in 1981 as she would tell Beck and JA-A8 thought the social worker would believe Beck over him.

*Betteridge states that he tried to tell his befriender
but “his response was that it was nothing to do with him”. He states he also told his social worker who was “very dismissive” of what I was saying. He said that when he ran away from the home, police would ask why but when he told them, they did not believe him.

*JA-A3 states that when he was asked to give more detail about GJ he said ‘that’s a bit dangerous ain’t it’. He said he had previously refused to discuss GJ with police as GJ was an MP and “MP’s are powerful people and I was afraid he may get to me and do me harm.”

*In 2014, JA-A25 told police that when making his statements in 2000 he had been told by police officers not to speak about everyone who had abused him including Beck and GJ and was told the police were not “interested in that”.

JA-A20 states that he was told not to say anything and “that’s what I did, and I never told no-one.”

JA -A21 states that GJ said that if JA-A21 told anyone, no one would believe him.

JA-A1 states that he felt responsible and to blame
and so tried to “bury the awful memories finding it too
shameful and embarrassing to talk about to anyone.”

Is ‘Pedophile Aliyah’ A Threat To Israeli Children?

A Jewish children’s advocacy group is raising the alarm about what it says is a concerning trend: dozens of pedophiles immigrating to Israel under its Law of Return and putting kids at risk.
“While the State of Israel in theory does have the right to restrict somebody from coming here if they think they will be dangerous to the citizens, they don’t necessarily know about it,” Shana Aaronson, head of the Jewish Community Watch, told the Jerusalem Post.
She alleges that 42 pedophiles have obtained Israeli citizenship in recent years through provisions of the country’s Law of Return, which permits almost all Jews to receive automatic citizenship. The Jewish Agency, which manages immigration, known as aliyah, denied those charges to the Post, saying that it made all potential immigrants undergo background checks.

But Aaronson said that people could circumvent that process by going to Israel as tourists and then applying for citizenship, which entails an easier process. She also said there was a pattern of pedophile immigrants changing their names and being able to work with children
