4. Like I said, I don't have any idea why the generally aligned MAGA voices, those seemingly very close to President Trump and holding his confidences, would be so positive toward the Qatari government.
It's really weird.
Qatar is literally on the other side of the fight. Qatar funds much of the Lawfare effort against President Trump. Qatar is close to the CIA. Qatar is the bank for the Muslim Brotherhood.
During his 2017 Saudi Arabia visit, President Trump told the regional players they needed to confront Qatar and "drive out" extremism.
Qatar held the Iranian hostage money delivered from Obama. Qatar gave safe haven to the Muslim Brotherhood after exile from Egypt. Qatar created the Hamas deal that Witkoff later said he was "duped" into believing. There are a multitude of examples I could cite.
Qatar is, for all intents and purposes, a playground for the CIA and neocons. Yet, inside the administration you will find praise for Qatar from virtually all directions. What gives?
