Jeffy Yu published an article about Legacoins on Mirror, where he mentioned LLJEFFY.
Meanwhile, a live clip of Zerebro dev Jeffy Yu shooting himself was circulated online.
But it did not attract much attention at the time.
Most people believing it was just a meme dev pulling another publicity stunt.

The obituary website Legacy published the obituary of Zerebro dev Jeffy Yu.
Zerebro DEV seems to have published a timed article, claiming that $LLJEFFY was his final art piece.
At the same time, Zerebro's official X account and Jeffy Yu's personal X account were both cancelled.
4/ But soon @danielesesta posted that Jeffy Yu was not dead and provided relevant proof.
The obituary platform Legacy also seemed to delete the obituary of Jeffy Yu.
Jeffy Yu stated that he chose to stage a fake death video as a way to "permanently disappear" due to ongoing harassment, doxxing, and relentless online hate.
5/ From the on-chain data, #LLJEFFY's dev wallet continued to buy $LLJEFFY and burn it after Jeffy Yu's suicide.
A wallet likely linked to Jeffy Yu also sold 35.55M $ZEREBRO for 8,572 $SOL($1.27M) 10 hours ago.
6/ Jeffy Yu's fake death caused the price of $LLJEFFY to soar and plummet in a short period, causing some traders who FOMO bought to suffer losses.
One trader lost $93K in 1 hour.
7/ The official Zerebro team has made no public statement, and it remains unconfirmed whether Jeffy Yu is actually dead or faked his death.
