the association between ses and general honesty is entirely mediated by iq. independent of genetic intelligence, ses has zero predictive power.

surprisingly, being black still predicts dishonesty even in models that take iq into account:

a swedish study found that iq still predicts violent offending rates between siblings, and controlling for ses variables in half brothers reared apart did not decrease the effect size.

so to ‘lessen crime’ you can’t just eliminate poverty — you need to increase intelligence.

the association between wealth and overall criminality is also entirely attributable to confounders. graph by @cremieuxrecueil:

the studies investigating the effect of treatment facilities/‘healthcare’ on crime are somewhat dubious, but the significant effects they do show are minuscule — literally orders of magnitude smaller than those between iq and crime:

finally, raising minimum wages might actually have a NEGATIVE effect on crime rates, with no significant association detected between increases and violent crime, but a POSITIVE association between the former and property crime:

conclusion: we need genetic, not social, interventions.
more eugenics, less communism. it’s that simple.
