Well I am now firmly on team Epstein didn’t kill himself after the mistakes they made in this release.
Let’s break it down:
1) This 10 hour video does not show Epstein’s cell.
It is across the entire hall from Epstein’s section.
We can see that in the attached image.
2/25
Only a tiny sliver of staircase leading to Epstein’s wing can be seen.
This is what they argue “proves” no one approached his cell that night, despite it being almost entirely out of frame.
“Stairway to L Tier” in the second image is what leads to his block.
3/25
In each of the “tier” is 8 cells with up to two inmates.
Epstein’s is L tier, in view of the guard (circles) who is directly diagonal to the camera.
3/25
The first red flag is this footage existing at all.
We know from OIG report that most cameras were not recording that day, except for one in the stairwell, and this camera.
But we’ve frequently had conflicting stories about which footage still exists. To suddenly have 10 hours released is odd.
4/25
2) Multiple Entrances:
-As I watched the video, I noticed multiple people enter from the right hand side of the lower level.
-As it turns out door “46” leads to floor 10.
-Both the “primary” and “secondary” SHU 9 entrances are on the lower level on the right hand side.
5/25
This means it’s easy to enter and go up the staircase to L tier, keeping to the right of the staircase and not be seen.
For example, here’s a screenshot we’ll talk about later of **2** people rushing up the stairs, and you can still barely see them.
6/25
3) Lockdown time:
The next oddity is the lockdown time, according to the official report, all inmates were locked in cells around 8pm.
That becomes a problem when we’ve got inmates visible on camera at 8:23pm.
7/25
4) Persons Unknown:
We then have a series of people move through the building that are not recorded in the OIG report.
The first two are likely not suspicious, but oddly not covered in interaction reports.
8/25
The first odd one takes place at 7:28pm, when a black male CO retrieves a paper that was slipped under door 46.
At first I assumed this was Material Handler Thomas from the reports, but he didn’t start his shift till midnight.
So I assume this may be Evening Watch Officer in Charge (who is unnamed in the report), this may be standard comms protocol, but the fact it wasn’t outlined in the report which documented all their procedures is odd.
9/25
The next oddity is the man who leaves through door 46 at midnight, unlike everyone else who carefully closes the security door, he flung it wide open, left it open and had to return to close it.
Given the inexperience and timestamp this could be Material Handler Thomas.
10/25
Next up I call Hat Man.
Hat Man seems to do laundry service, he throws the old linen bags out into the hall, and brings new ones in.
But there is a problem.
11/25
Hat Man doesn’t leave then linens and go back out the door, first he pushes the empty garbage can a bit to the right, obstructing the view of downstairs.
Then he walks down to the lower level with the fresh linens and out of view to the right hand side.
12/25
This is the first time in the video we see:
-A) That someone could enter/exit from the lower level, as Hat Man isn’t seen again.
-B) You can reach the L-tier stairs out of view.
But also keep the orange linens in mind, that’s important later.
13/25
Lastly we’ve got these two characters unknown characters.
The first one someone collecting reports, but the second person, wearing a black hoodie with their hood up, who leaves for 20 minutes and returns at between 5:38-5:50 AM with no record.
14/25
5) When did Epstein get locked down?
Next is the problem of when Epstein was in his cell.
The initial report tells us that he was allowed to make an unscheduled phone call, at 7pm which lasted until 7:19pm and he was taken back to his cell.
15/25
However later that same report said he was “housed” between 10:40 pm and 6:30am when found.
And that time kept coming up, in another statement they said “no one checked on Epstein since 10:40pm”
16/25
But it was today’s FBI press release that I think made the big mistake.
It said Epstein was “locked in his cell at around 10:40pm”
Which was weird because all inmates were supposedly locked down some time just after 8pm with no record of other treatment.
17/25
In fact the original release statement claimed that in the video, the reason we start at 7:40 is because this grey haired man is supposedly Epstein being walked to his cell.
So what happens at 10:40pm?
18/25
What happens at 10:40pm?
It’s incredibly hard to see, but if you look at the frames one by one then you’ll see:
10:39:40 - empty stairs
10:39:42 - an orange blur on left side of L-tier stairs
10:39:46 - a more visible orange sleeve at the top of the stairs.
19/25
So at 10:39pm, for reasons unknown, undocumented, and suppressed, Epstein was out of his cell.
Despite every statement claiming he had been locked down for hours.
The initial OIG report claims officers checked on him in his cell at that time.
Which was a lie.
20/25
The guard station that the officers sat as was close to Epstein’s cell so that the guards could carefully monitor him.
In fact it was the only cell where guards had direct line of sight and could have even easily heard movement in.
21/25
Despite this the guards claimed to have not done their rounds, or checked on him and to have fallen asleep at their desks for hours.
One problem though… there isn’t any multi-hour span in which they weren’t seen walking around on camera..or looking at the cameras..
22/25
6) Finding Epstein:
They found Epstein at 6:30am when food delivery arrived. The food delivery makes it upstairs to the cell without ever appearing on camera (showing how useless this angle is)
They find Epstein hung, using “an excessive amount of linens”
23/25
Note how he didn’t use the electrical wire from the two CPAP machines in the room, but instead apparently this small single rip of cloth, to hang himself from the middle of the bed, and also not knock over the pill bottle.
24/25
And perhaps most curious of all, when crime scene phones for the OIG were taken, in a prison that’s known for its disrepair, nearly all the railings were painted black except for J Tier (which isn’t in the video)
But in our video, in L-tier, the railing is unpainted.
Suggesting either this camera is not positioned where the report claims, or the crime scene photos weren’t taken at the same time, or, for some reason, while doing a high profile murder case in a prison that is set to be shut down…. They painted the railings…
25/25
No matter what you make of that, here is what we know:
-The FBI claimed no one approached his cell block and that’s wrong.
-5 or 6 people *visibly* were near those stairs that night and could have went up without being on camera.
-Both entrances to that cell block were out of view and could access those stairs.
-There are multiple conflicting times in which Epstein was supposedly locked down for the night.
-For some unknown reason, a prisoner (likely Epstein) is out of his cell at 10:40pm with no record.
-The officers doing rounds claimed to fall asleep at their desks “for hours” but with people coming and going, and them walking around, we know it’s not true.
-Epstein had an unreasonable amount of linens in his room, but reports from the day say he had the room checked and cleared.
-Fresh linens were brought into the SHU that night by Hat Man.
-No prisoners claimed to hear commotion.
-Yet Epstein supposedly hung himself on a single shred of linens, so low on the bed frame that he strangled himself only an inch off the ground, and yet didn’t knock over the pill bottle.
-Most of the cameras in that area failed that night, and footage was supposedly lost, but we now have it.
-For some reason officer Tova specifically looks at the one working camera on at least 3 occasions that night.
Even before you get into the inconsistencies with claims that he did or did not have a list, or the fact that experts dispute that hanging with linen would result in the kind of breaks found in the autopsy, it seems pretty damn clear:
-Epstein didn’t kill himself.
His victims deserve truth, honesty and justice.
And they don’t get that if powerful people sell this lie.
Also I should add:
-I’m happy, well adjusted, and plan to be tweeting for a long time to come.
If I suddenly disappear or fall out a window or something, then we know I really nailed it with this thread… 😬😅
Another damning moment of the footage that I had missed at first:
-It’s been cut, and time stamps were tampered with.
-At 11:58pm instead of going to 11:59pm the camera timestamp jumps to 12:00am
-An entire 1 minute of footage is missing or timestamps were doctored
-The camera also visibly shifts as if it was moved during that time, or as if its settings were changed and the video size or position in the final output file are different.
Either way, this is not a continuous 10+ hour shot.
Although if you mean the play/pause buttons in the top right, then yeah I think they stitched files from two different days together and moved the onscreen buttons when they did.
That shows carelessness but not conspiracy maybe?
Unless those aren’t play buttons but instead a label, but I can’t make it out in a way that this would be my first guess.
