The Jeffrey Epstein Scandal: Where Imperialism, Zionism and Arab Reaction Meet

The story of Jeffrey Epstein is often told through the lens of sex trafficking, blackmail, and intelligence agencies. This version of the story is an incomplete picture. The Epstein scandal should be understood not simply as a criminal conspiracy of a network of people and agencies, but as a microcosm of the workings of global imperialism and its ruling class. 

So who was Jeffrey Epstein and what is the real scandal behind his story?

Jeffrey Epstein was at once a finance capitalist, CIA and Mossad asset, and a conduit for money laundering and sex and arms trafficking. These three roles were inextricably linked to one another. His broad network featured people such as Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Ehud Barak, Bill Gates, Leon Black, Tom Barrack, Prince Andrew and many high profile figures  at the top of finance, politics, real estate, philanthropy, media, academia, and the arts.  

While there is no doubt that part of what connected many of these figures to Epstein was sexual perversion, the main relation that ties him to so many of these people is their membership in a global elite with shared financial interests, ventures, and criminal enterprises.

One of the main figures that epitomizes the nature of Epstein’s role as an intermediary between imperialism, Zionism, and Arab reaction was Saudi billionaire, finance capitalist and arms dealer, Adnan Khashoggi. Khashoggi, whom Epstein met through British arms dealer and M16 asset Douglas Leese, was described as a “financial client” of Epstein–almost certainly a cover for their dealings tied to weapons trafficking and money laundering at the behest of intelligence agencies, including CIA, Mossad, and M16. 

Khashoggi, a middleman in the Iran-Contra scandal, also served as a principal foreign agent of the US, operating the notorious “Safari Club,” the covert alliance of intelligence services running clandestine operations throughout the African continent, with involvement from the Shah’s Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, France, US, Israel, Rhodesia, and Apartheid South Africa. This alliance is responsible for initiating the process for the 1978 Camp David Accords between Israel and Egypt.

Beyond playing the role as intermediary, Epstein was well-connected to Israeli government officials, Israeli intelligence, and the broader Zionist movement. Indeed, Epstein’s shadowy accumulation of immense wealth is largely traceable to Zionist billionaires critical to advancing the goals of Zionism globally. 

Edgar Bronfman, former CEO of Seagram and president of World Jewish Congress, was Epstein’s first main client that transformed Epstein’s position by connecting him to a network of billionaires, including Lex Wexner, former CEO of Victoria Secret. Wexner was Epstein’s primary client from 1987-2007, and is largely credited with the accumulation of Epstein’s immense wealth.

Lex Wexner, along with Charles Bronfman, co-founded the “MEGA,” a Zionist lobby network and major founder and funder of Zionist initiatives, such as Birthright Israel and Hillel International. Israeli intelligence utilized MEGA as a vehicle for Mossad espionage and influence operations within the United States. Epstein, himself, leveraged his connection to MEGA to build up his network of high-ranking contacts in business, media, and politics.

Throughout his escapades, Epstein was represented by notorious Zionist propagandist and lawyer, Alan Dershowitz. In 2006, while Epstein was in hiding in Israel, Dershowitz helped negotiate a plea deal resulting in immunity from all federal criminal charges against Epstein, along with four named co-conspirators and any unnamed "potential co-conspirators"

The most prominent name associated with Epstein and his co-conspirator in the child trafficking scandal, Ghislaine Maxwell met Epstein through his close relationship with her father, Robert Maxwell, the Zionist billionaire and media mogul former owner of Mirror Group Newspapers and Macmillan Publishers. Maxwell first entered the international scene when, to circumvent a British embargo, he began smuggling arms to Zionist militias during the Nakba. 

Robert eventually became a Mossad agent, running disinformation operations for Israel through his media empire. He was guided by a roster of consultants including former US Senators Howard Baker, John Tower, and Robert Keith Gray, the director of communications for the 1980 Reagan-Bush campaign. His sons went on to establish their own Zionist think-tank dedicated to the demonization of Arabs and Muslims called “Combatting Jihadist Terrorism.” After his mysterious death, he was given a quasi-state funeral in Israel.

The recent attempts to bury (some of) the details of the Epstein saga by the Trump administration is continuation of the broader multi-decade cover up by several governments and administrations. The ruling classes, regardless of political affiliation, nationality, or loyalties, have a shared interest in masking the rot at the heart of global imperialism, zionism and reaction. 

Throughout the years, just as with the genocide in Gaza, media outlets and corporate institutions played their role in covering up for Epstein and the various figures and agencies implicated in his network. It was only through the relentlessness of journalists, popular pressure, including from his own victims, did we start to uncover parts of this story.

The extent of Epstein’s involvement with these figures provides a small glimpse into the shadowy overlaps among imperialism, Zionism, and Arab reaction, such that their common investments, property, and wealth all merge into a common class interest.  These relationships demonstrate the moral rot and depravity which lie at the core of the imperialist ruling class. 

In many ways, Epstein is no different than his benefactors, associates, handlers and co-conspirators. He only stands out insofar as he was able to perfect a system for laundering, trafficking, and blackmail to advance his own interests and his co-conspirators and to serve intelligence agencies.

This story is not unique in its depravity, nor its scope. It is simply a microcosm of the workings of a global system predicated on oppression and exploitation. We should not be so shocked that a class which immolates children daily in Gaza also trafficks and sexually abuses them. Their lavish and amoral lifestyles are fueled by mass death. The billionaires, political officials, and intelligence agencies at the heart of the Epstein story are the same or similar to the networks involved in Israel’s genocide in Gaza, counterrevolution in Latin America, the ICE raids in American neighborhoods, and so much more.
