š§µJubilee Media is everywhere...
From 1 vs 20 debates to real-life dating app "swiping"
You've surely seen their videos
But this thread will show Jubilee isn't just some YouTube page that hit it big
It's a political apparatus funded by some of the world's most powerful menā¦
First, let's answer the most basic question:
What is Jubilee Media?
Jubilee Media has a host of social media pages but is primarily composed of two YouTube channels:
1. Jubilee with ~10 million subscribers
2. Nectar with ~1.2 million subscribers
And each page has very different agendas
YouTube channel Jubilee tries to "provoke understanding & create human connection."
Some of it's most popular videos are:
-Flat Earthers Vs Scientists
-Charlie Kirk vs 25 Woke Students
-Swiping 30 people in a real life version of Tinder
Meanwhile, Jubilee Media's Nectar YouTube page promises viewers:
"I STILL BELIEVE IN LOVE & i want to help you find it"
It's most popular videos show:
-More dating app "swiping" people in real life
-Dating people by their "glow-ups"
-Various iterations of speed dating games
Now how did Jubilee Media start?
Jubilee Media was started by Jason Y. Lee when he created the Jubilee YouTube page in 2010
And Jason wasn't just some random nobody...
He's a graduate of one of the most prestigious Ivy League business schools in the US (Wharton)
Jubilee's 12th and 19th videos were love-story short films that went viral in 2010
These successes encouraged Jason to leave his job at one of the most prestigious consulting firms in the world (Bain & Co) and pursue the YouTube channel full-time
Now, before we get in to who funds Jubilee, we need to discuss one of the more striking things about it:
It's extremely Asian...
In fact, at least 48% of the 35 people Jubilee Media lists on their "Team" section are Asian
jubileemedia.com/team
Here's the racial breakdown of the team Jubilee Media has listed on their website:
Asian: 17
White: 8
Hispanic: 5
Black: 3
Indian: 1
Jewish: 1
(Also, of the people I looked up in researching this piece many of the people who weren't Asians were married to Asians)
I know, I know...
Asians weren't the group many of you were expecting to see
Don't worry, we'll discuss other groups here soon...
But this Asian presence will be important when we see who is funding Jubilee
So two more quick points on the Asian influence over Jubilee Media:
1. Of the videos Jubilee posted in its first 6 years around 80% of them only had Asians in them
2. Just take a look this pic from Jubilee's 2015 conference...
Ok, now let's get to the good stuff...
Who is actually funding Jubilee Media?
Jubilee Media (then called "The Jubilee Project") would receive it's first round of funding in August of 2013 from a tech incubator called Civic Accelerator
Of the funding Jubilee would receive this $50k was hardly anything
And Civic Accelerator isn't tied to anyone too special, it was basically a joint effort between PwC's and Starbucks' Charitable Funds
...but the next round of funding gets much more interesting
The next round of funding for Jubilee took place in December of 2017 for a much larger $655,000
And this funding round included Asian former NBA player Jeremy Lin
But the big name funding this round wasn't Jeremy Linā¦
The big name funding Jubilee's second round was a man who was a member of Elon Musk's and Peter Thiel's infamous "PayPal Mafia"
A man who was one of the founders of the very YouTube platform Jubliee was posting its videos to:
YouTube co-founder Steve Chen
Now for anyone that doesn't know who Peter Thiel is or what the PayPal Mafia is I'll include a video below
The PayPal Mafia could be a thread of its own but for brevity's sake I'll summarize them this way (next slide)...
The PayPal mafia is a small group of men that dominate the tech & startup world
And anyone wanting a company in Silicon Valley invariably needs to be in one of their good graces
These men also have strong ties to government agencies like the CIA and Mossad (especially Thiel)
But Jubileeās funding didn't stop is 2017ā¦
Their next round of funding came in September of 2022 and was for $1.1 million
And the cast of donors for this round was an even more star-studded lineup of Asian entrepreneurs:
In addition to Chen & Lin again, this round featured:
-Patreon Co-Founder Sam Yam
-DoorDash Co-Founder Stanley Tang
-Rotten Tomatoes Founder Patrick Lee
-Triller CEO Mike Lu
The 2022 funding was led by Strong Ventures
Can you guess the ethnicity of Strong's key people?
And despite tracking all this funding by 2022 Jubilee Media had received at least $3.25 million in funding (see news article)
That means there is still around $1.45 million I was unable to account for
And it also means Jubilee's probably received much more money since then...
And I know, I know some of you are shocked
No kosher influence, you say?
Well, not so fast...
The influence may have arrived a little later but in 2022 Jubilee Media signed talent agency WME as its manager
Now WME (William Morris Endeavor) is a massive agency behind some of the largest brands in the world
To name just a few:
-They represent the NFL and NHL
-They are majority owner of the UFC and WWE
-They represent of the biggest music and movie stars
At the head of WME are two men:
-Patrick Whitesell
-Ari Emanuel
Ari's last name should sound familiar, his brother Rahm was the mayor of Chicago and Biden's ambassador to Japan
The Emanuels are undoubtedly one of the most powerful jewish families in America (and the world)
But as immense as WME's power is, their connection to Jubilee doesn't seem to go much deeper than management
But the people that started, financed, and appear to currently control Jubilee are all Asian
The racial influence here isn't a kosher one
...but an Asian one
So what does all this mean?
Outside showing us Jubilee's potential biases this shows one big thing:
It shows that behind the scenes racial collectivism is a powerful driving force for many different races in America to this very day
