6000 years ago, due to axial precession, Earth was oriented differently towards the stars. The North Star was Thuban, part of the constellation Draco, and the Age of Taurus had just begun.
The Sun rose on the Spring Equinox between the horns of Taurus, facing towards Orion, one of the most important ancient constellations. Some even speculate that the three pyramids in Giza align with Orion's Belt. Evidence for the Solovki geomagnetic excursion has since been observed in widely separated regions, suggesting it was a global geomagnetic event.
For example, lake sediments near Beijing, China record an abrupt magnetic direction change between approximately 6060 and 4860BP. Likewise, archaeomagnetic measurements of ancient fired pottery from southern China (dated ~4100 BC) reveal extremely low magnetic intensities around 6,000 years.
In South America, over 20 sediment sections (many in Patagonia) also preserve anomalous remanent magnetization directions (intermediate or reversed) that align with the 5–7 ky BP.

Another study finds that 6000 years ago, a Y-chromosome bottleneck occurred, where out of 20 male lineages, 19 went extinct, while the diversity in female lineages remained steady.
This coincides with the Biblical story of Noah, where only the Y-chromosome of Noah would be passed on, as he had 3 sons, and his sons had three wives (or possibly more).
Hypothetically, if there were a mass extinction event, a smart civilization would try to save more females and fewer males. A climatic cooling episode identified around ~5.9 kiloyears BP (often termed Bond Event 4) appears in North Atlantic paleo-records. This timing overlaps with the Solovki geomagnetic excursion. Recent analysis of Holocene peat paleomagnetism found a clear correlation between geomagnetic fluctuations and Bond events – recurring cool/dry periods.
The study specifically highlighted the Solovki (~7–4.5 ka) and later Etruscan (Sterno-Etrussia, ~2.8–2.6 ka BP) excursions, noting that geomagnetic field dips corresponded with periods of climate cooling and other environmental changes. In other words, the timing of the Solovki excursion aligns with a global climate shift, suggesting more than coincidence.

So why does this occur? In my opinion, it's because of axial precession (the slow wobble of the Earth) and the Sun. Even though precession is a very slow process, it has multiple thresholds and tipping points that slowly accumulate as the Earth wobbles and changes which parts of the planet receive more heat from the Sun. When these thresholds are reached, the entire climate changes. The acceleration coincides with geomagnetic excursions, which, in my opinion, are also triggered by the Sun and the slow changes in the orientation of the Earth.
There are four main events that correspond with the changes of the Four Ages of Man or the Four Yugas, which are essentially the four seasons in the Great Year (one full cycle of axial precession).
These seasons are marked in the Bible and connected to the Age of Leo (12,000 years ago), the Age of Taurus (6,000 years ago), the Age of Aquarius (we are in this transition right now), and the Age of Scorpio (or the transformation into the eagle Aquila) 6,000-7,000 years from now. In my opinion, the process of the geophysical event and climate change began 200 years ago, and it’s only intensifying. It looks like we are close to the tipping point. Currently, the pole shift has reached a speed akin to the Laschamp geomagnetic excursion, which is linked to the mass extinction of the Neanderthals 42,000 years ago.
