Yesterday an astonishing report from Yale showing Russia forcing kidnapped kids to work in drone factories, how Croatia may have embarrassed the Putin/ Hungary/Slovakia axis.
Those and many more stories in Tuesday's thread, click here to review:
2-3 weeks ago, Russia started copying Ukraine's attacks on railway infrastructure and is having success.
At night, Ukrzaliznytsia substations were hit, causing power losses firing the rail network.
Over 20 passenger trains were on affected routes, but there are no casualties.
Officials are not yet saying exactly where the rail infrastructure attacks happened, but it's clearly at different locations.
Overall in the nightly attack, 13 places were hit by 36 strike drones, 1 ballistic + 1 S-300 missiles.
🇺🇦stopped
0/2 missiles
136/174 UAVs (78%)
Today the number of Russians sacrificing their lives or limbs to Tsar Putler, goes back above 1000 for the first time in a while
The number of drones destroyed in the entire war now passes 60,000. I'll guess that's more than the entire number of attack UAVs in the world pre-war
The President of the European Parliament will speak in Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada today.
@RobertaMetsola arrived at vokzal (train station) in Kyiv shortly after dawn this morning.

I hate to post it, but it needs to be said when Russia has success, especially because, as I said yesterday, many people are deliberately spreading exaggerated or overly-optimistic 'news' from the battlefield.
This in turn can lead to complacency + a drop in donations for🇺🇦

Updated battlefield maps this morning now show what was NOT inevitable in Kharkiv region, yet seemed it for a while with things going badly wrong here for Ukraine.
Russia took more ground y'day and has now entered the large town of Kupiansk, liberated exactly 3 years ago.

I'll also update you on the situation near Dobropillia in DOonetsk
Russians still hold out (date on left of maps) and even with some forward progress according to DeepState's red arrow. Ukraine has some success south-east (blue) but it's now 38 days since the 🇷🇺breakthrough
Ukraine's published another alleged phone-intercept recording today, in which Russians say they captured a soldier trying to flee the war, and will now butcher him and leave him as bait for 'dill' (derog. for Ukrainians)
