Demon Slayer Quick Decode
1.
The two highest grossing Japanese films of all time are both movie adaptations of the manga Demon Slayer.

I wasn't going to give this its own thread, but I just had an epiphany as to the deeper symbolism of this entire story that demanded one!

2.
Demon Slayer dethroned One Piece as the most popular manga after a historic 11-year-run at the top.

That's probably why when I walk around I've seen more Demon Slayer car stickers than any other type.

Anyway, popularity is particularly important to decode this one!

3.
The powers in Demon Slayer are based on "BREATHING" as in talking and it could be likened to any form of communication.

Consider the fact that Demon Slayer became the most popular which by definition means it was the most talked about series.

4.
The epiphany I had that forced this thread was the sudden realization as to why the villain was designed to look like Michael Jackson.

This was a massively important point to realize as it's going to help me further decode him in future threads.

5.
The design notably juxtaposes the "Smooth Criminal" look of Michael Jackson with the "Cateyes" from Michael Jackson's Thriller video.

Both are extremely important to understand.

6.
Thriller in particular is still the highest grossing album of all times and often lauded as most influential.

Michael Jackson became the "King of Pop" and just like Demon Slayer became the most talked about thing during his era.

He became a ROLE MODEL for kids to imitate.

7.
That is until he his skin turned white, disfigured and he became scandalized as a child molester.

When reconciled Demon Slayer unlocks a deeper point to what was going both there and now.

What is the point of influence? Why would it be rapidly reversed?

8.
What happens when a cultural change widely pushed is later deemed unhealthy?

Define "Brony"

+1 because of a transition of audience!

This answers everything when reconciled properly!

9.
Just like Michael Jackson the cultural push with MLP was intentional as I decode here.

And now it should all make sense when you reconcile the transition of audience.

A rejection of one direction of growth for communities juxtaposed with another!

10.
This also explains why Muzan often transforms into a young child when in hiding.

It notes here he also turns into a grotesque akira like baby at the end when finally killed by sunlight.

The only thing that can kill him is SUNLIGHT as in visibility of the monster.

11.
There's also a bizarre plot element implying it's destiny for the main characters to die soon after the end of the series.

To beat the villains the main characters enter near death triggering a cursed mark that trades lifespan for stronger powers (breath).

12.
It's never resolved, and I believe that's a reference to how the dead are used as psyops.

Effectively someone famous dies in a famous way like JFK and it ends up allowing passage of the Civil Rights act. An extreme example, but it makes the point.

13.
It's much like "Firework" by Katy Perry as the official reason for that name is Katy Perry said when she dies she dreams of being loaded into a firework shot across the stars for everyone to see and hear.

Reconcile the timing on that one!
