The MAGA position on Europe has been consistently:
1) Stop repressing the domestic right
2) Stop race-replacing Europeans
3) Stop destroying your own industry
4) Remilitarize
This has been twisted into a tale of eternal American perfidy by retarded Euro-rightists on X.
The EU, German, and British political classes are very hostile to all of these things, and the Trump admin has burned a lot of diplomatic capital (on eg sanctions) with these genuinely important groups on behalf of Europeans.
I can't get /too/ indignant about this, because at least some of this is downstream of negative polarization from the retards on MAGA X who love talking about how Europeans are CUCKS and OUR VASSALS, but it's important to look at reality rather than discourse.
There's a split based on Russia - Russophiles like Soldo hate the US for backing Ukraine and supposedly starting and keeping the war going (didn't happen) and Nordstream (also didn't happen), while Russophobes (often Finns) hate the US for not supporting Ukraine enough.
Reality: the Trump admin has consistently backed Ukraine while pressuring them to make peace w/ moderate concessions ASAP. This has been rejected by, in order of importance, Russia, Ukraine, and the EU and German political classes, who are much more hawkish.
These people hate Atlanticism (having allies) far more than domestic repression or the Great Replacement, and live in an imaginary world where these are one and the same. In the real one, domestic Euro politicians are so committed to these they're happy to fight the US over it.
MAGA wrt the US is a colorblind civnat movement, but wrt Europe is soft-white nationalist.
Euro libs who hate America for hate speech, militarism, and lack of social democracy are better connected to reality.
