Every Word Of God Is Pure! 🧵
Do you value the Word of God? Do you believe it is true; every Word of it? If every Word of God is pure and true, and you believe and value it, do you read His written Word? We are told to hide His Word in our hearts!
Psalm 119:10-12
With my whole heart have I sought Thee: O let me not wander from Thy commandments. Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee. Blessed art Thou, O LORD: teach me Thy statutes.
You see beloved, if we love God, and believe Him, we will value His Word above all other words written or spoken. We will seek His Word, and seek to understand and walk in His Word with our whole heart!
We must examine our own lives, and hearts to see what we value by where we are spending our time and energy!
Ask the LORD to search your heart and show you if there’s anything there that needs to be changed; to be conformed and transformed by His Spirit’s work in your heart.
Psalm 139:23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the Way everlasting.
His Word tells us that the scriptures are God breathed, and written by men who were moved by His Spirit to write them down.
2 Timothy 3:14-17
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
And that from a child thou hast known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Peter 1:19-21
We have also a more sure Word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Every Word of God is pure!
Proverbs 30:5-6
Every Word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him. Add thou not unto His Words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
Have you put your trust in God? Have you called upon the Name of the LORD for salvation? If so, He is your shield of protection!
Romans 10:11-13
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same LORD over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the LORD shall be saved.
When we look around us today, even at our own lives, and the lives of those who say they are Christians, do we see a love for the Word of God above all other Words?
Do we share His Words of Life with others, or the Words of men? Only His Words bring life! Only His Words are pure truth!
John 6:68-69
Then Simon Peter answered Him, LORD, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the Words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that Thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
Hold forth Words of Life for others!
Philippians 2:16
Holding forth the Word of Life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
