Each Day Has Enough Trouble! 🧵

We are told in God’s Word not to worry about the future, but to trust in the provision, and protection of our Father in heaven for each day!

Matthew 6:11
Give us this day our daily bread.

Our lives are to be lived one day at a time!

Luke 9:23
And He said to them all, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

“O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought.”

Matthew 6:25-34
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment?

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

What are you worried about today beloved child of God; what are you full of care about?

Bring these things to your Father, leave them with Him, and thank Him that He is at work in each life; in each situation to do His good purposes, and to perfect you, and your loved ones — to bring glory to His Name!

Philippians 4:6-7
Be careful for NOTHING; but in EVERY thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

There is nothing too hard for God, and His Word tells us that He causes ALL things that He allows in our lives to work together for His purposes when we are His children!

Jeremiah 32:17,27
Ah LORD! behold, Thou hast made the heaven and the earth by Thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for Thee: [27] Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for Me?

Romans 8:28
And we know that ALL things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.

Finally, beloved, think on good things! Refuse to let your mind rehearse every possible negative outcome! Take every thought captive to the obedience of God’s Word!

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure,

Whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

How do we do this? When a worrisome thought enters your mind, say no, I won’t think about that! I won’t worry or be fearful because I know that the Word of God tells me He is watching over me, and that nothing will by no means harm me!

1 Peter 5:6-7
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.

Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

For each worry, let the Holy Spirit bring to your mind the Word of God that addresses that worry!

Hiding His Word in your heart is so important! Even if we might not understand or remember in our natural ability the Words we read, when we need them, the Holy Spirit can remind us of the Word, and give us understanding and application to our particular situation!

John 14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, Whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Do you trust the LORD? Do you really trust Him? Then turn your worries into prayers of thanksgiving for His watch and care over you and over your loved ones!

Psalm 4:3-8
But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for Himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto Him.

Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD. There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift Thou up the light of Thy countenance upon us.

Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for Thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
