MY VIEW ON THE IRAN WAR

Most people seem to think nothing important is happening. They are still posting about baseball and influencers, and don't understand why I would drop everything to argue against this war. In this thread I'll share my view for my readers.

First of all, this war was started by the US and Israel without justification. National interest aside, it is morally wrong to go starting wars without justification. The stain of this unnecessary violence will haunt America for years to come.

The war rhetoric coming out of the Department of Defense is highly disturbing, and in some cases nakedly evil.

Renaming the DoD the Department of War is a red flag in itself. Promoting real violence with video game clips is psychotic. I could go on, but I won't....

This war will do great harm to the global economy. Today I read the delusional claim that the world will blame IRAN for this harm. No. The world can see who is to blame for starting this war. It is not Iran.

Having everyone hate you for impoverishing them, including your longtime allies, is bad strategy. China will seem like the more reliable partner, while America will seem like a crazed bully.

"But the US will survive crashing the global economy better than anyone else. We have our own oil."

Whether this is true or false, hurting literally EVERYONE so that you come out ahead is immoral. And why be so sure you'll come out ahead?

China is further along in electrification than any other country. They have been planning for this specific scenario for years. Their electric cars are suddenly going to seem very attractive abroad. Their industrial might is unsurpassed. They have a huge petroleum reserve.

Russia's budget depends on selling oil. Now that oil is worth a lot more. The US has even been forced to roll back sanctions to reduce the economic fallout. It is effectively handing Ukraine to Russia for the privilege of blowing up Iranians. This is extremely retarded.

Thus, the Iran War seems to strengthen the position of America's main opponents while weakening the position of its allies. Furthermore, it is not improbable that the US will be ejected from the Middle East entirely.

I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on military strategy. But I don't need to be. We've all seen that America can't even conquer Afghanistan. AFGHANISTAN. Trying to take on Iran is jumping up MULTIPLE levels of difficulty from Afghanistan. It's totally nuts.

It would be nice if we could just blame one crazy president for this war. Well, certainly he takes a bigger share of the blame than anyone else. He campaigned against this war and then started it anyway. A betrayal of historic proportions.

However, congress has effectively given its approval. The corruption of America's leaders is deep and broad.

Important nodes in that corruption trace back to the Epstein ring.

The reasonable conclusion based on the evidence is that a foreign nation used blackmail and media ownership to capture enough American leaders that they could manipulate America into fighting an immoral war that is against its national interest and against the will of its people.

That said, some normal Americans bear the guilt for this war as well. They have thoughtlessly allowed themselves to be herded into dehumanizing those who will suffer from it. They have an arrogant view that America cannot lose, and that allies don't matter.

They have mindlessly accepted the propaganda that our world is defined by a clash of civilizations between the "Judeo-Christian" and Islamic world. This is not remotely true. The Islamic world is simply not a threat to the West at all. America's only serious competitor is China.

And while China may be America's most serious COMPETITOR, anyone who's paying attention should have noticed that another, much smaller nation, has done America more grievous harm by breaking its democratic political system. And that culprit is NOT an Islamic nation.

Now, my analysis may be wrong. Again, I am not an expert. But when it comes to starting a war, "trust the experts" doesn't cut it. Proponents need to make its necessity immaculately clear to the public. And they haven't even tried. Because they have nothing. Nothing.
