What we are seeing in the Conservative movement is the influence of Pat Buchanan who William F Buckley sought to kick out of the Conservative movement along wiith Robert W Welsh, Jr and his John Birch Society, Willis Carlos and his Liberty Lobby,
1)

Ayn Rand's Objectivist movement, neo-isolationists and paleoconservatives like Joseph Sobran. Buckley tried to exclude groups he believed made conservatism look conspiratorial, racist, or politically toxic.
2)

President Trump and the late Charlie Kirk, echoed the words of William F Buckley when it comes to his MAGA movement and we see Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Shapiro and Christian leaders speaking out against antisemitism and anti Israel conspiracy theories as well.
3)

William F. Buckley Jr. repeatedly condemned antisemitism and argued it had no legitimate place in the American conservative movement. Through his magazine National Review and public commentary, he tried to distance conservatism from conspiracy theories about Jews or Israel.
4)

Buckley argued that antisemitism was morally wrong and politically destructive. He believed that if conservatives tolerated it, the movement would lose credibility.
5)

For example, when controversies arose around columnist Joseph Sobran in the early 1990s, Buckley wrote that repeated remarks about Jewish influence had crossed a line and damaged the magazine and the movement.
6)

Sobran was eventually dismissed from National Review after Buckley concluded his comments about Jews and Israel were unacceptable.
7)

Buckley also attacked groups spreading antisemitic conspiracy theories, including the circles around activist Willis Carto and his organization Liberty Lobby. Buckley described these networks as extremist and conspiratorial, and he urged conservatives to keep their distance.
8)

Buckley often wrote that antisemitism contradicted conservative principles such as respect for individual dignity and Western civilization. He also defended Jewish participation in public life and rejected the idea that Jews secretly controlled politics or media.
9)

Dick Carlson, Tucker Carlson's father was very close friends and neighbors with William F Buckley and shared these views. He was a staunch Christian Zionist. It is why he named Tucker's brother, Buckley. Tucker claims he named his son after his brother.
10)

It is Pat Buchanan that was Tucker's mentor.
