1/6 Time for some introspection?
Tech oligarchs have made themselves universally hated simply by revealing who they truly are and how little self-awareness they possess.
They are, actually, the best argument against themselves
2/6 Some have crossed the line from opportunistic greed into neoreactionary extremism, with figures like Peter Thiel and Marc Andreessen leading the charge.
They insulate themselves from reality, and their absolute lack of self-awareness makes them dangerous
3/6 Andreessen recently gave an interview proudly admitting to having zero introspection.
We see the consequences of this daily.
When people wielding immense power refuse to ever look inward or question their motives, disaster inevitably follows
4/6 These billionaires massively benefited from the systems of liberalism and democracy.
Now that they have made their fortunes, they want to dismantle those very same systems to increase their profit and control over others.
It is an insane level of greed
5/6 Because they refuse to introspect, tech oligarchs have become the single best advertisement against their own existence.
Their blatant attempts to pull up the ladder and rewrite society to serve their own wealth are the ultimate argument against unregulated capitalism
6/6 They despise Marxist views, yet their unhinged behavior and greed boost those very ideologies more than anything else.
By acting like cartoonish villains, these people make themselves widely hated.
It is time for some introspection
