SO PENIS HAS TYPES

Many boys and men worry about how their penis looks, but the truth is this, there is a wide range of normal.

Just like faces and height differ, penises also differ in size, shape, and appearance.

Most of these differences have no effect on your health, fertility, or sexual function.

TYPES BASED ON ERECTION.

1. Grower
This looks small or average when soft but becomes much bigger when erect. This is very common and completely normal

2. Shower
looks bigger even when soft and does not increase much when erect. This is also normal, just a different pattern.🧐

Are you a Grower or a Shower?

BASED ON SHAPE

- Straight
goes forward when erect with little or no curve.

- Upward curve
bends slightly upward during erection, which is common and usually not a problem.

- Downward curve
bends slightly downward; still normal if there is no pain.

- Side curve
bends to the left or right; many men have this and live normally with it.

Mild curves are normal because, to be fair, no body part is perfectly straight 🤷🏽‍♂️

BADED ON SHAPE

- Equal circumference
The shaft is almost the same thickness from base to tip. This is very common.

- Narrow base, large head
The base (near the body) is slimmer, while the tip (head) is wider. This is just a natural shape difference.

- Large base, narrow head
The base is thicker, and the head is smaller. Also normal, just a different body pattern.

- Narrow in center
The middle part is slimmer than both ends. This can look like a slight “hourglass” shape. Still normal if there is no pain.

- Right from base / Left from base
This shows a penis that curves to one side. Mild curves are very common and not a problem.

BASED ON FORESKIN

- Circumcised
the foreskin has been removed, so the tip (glans) is always visible.

- Uncircumcised
the foreskin covers the tip; it can be pulled back for cleaning. This is natural and healthy when properly cared for.

BASED ON SIZE

Some are longer, some are shorter, some are thicker, some are slimmer.

Most fall within a normal range, and size does not determine strength, fertility, or “manhood.”

WHY DOES THIS POST MATTER?

The point here is this:
Most of these types of penis do not cause any problem at all. But there are a few things to watch out for:

- A strong bend with pain during erection may suggest Peyronie’s disease, which can affect comfort during sex.

- If the foreskin is too tight and cannot be pulled back, it may be Phimosis, and this can cause pain or infection if not treated.

- Redness, itching, bad smell, or discharge may mean infection and should not be ignored.

- Pain during urination or sores on the penis may point to a sexually transmitted infection and need early care.

- Long-term erection problems (difficulty getting or keeping an erection) may be linked to stress, poor blood flow, or conditions like diabetes.

There is no “perfect” penis. What matters is that it works well, is not painful, and is kept clean.

If something feels off, it is always best to speak to a medical doctor about it.
