Why I Think The Epstein Note Is Probably Real, A Thread

(note for those about to smash reply "lol CIA shill": the word "probably" means "more likely than not". it does not mean "definitely", just that the odds it's real are better than a coinflip)

reasons + odds 👇

🧵1/Ω subjectively, as someone who color-highlighted too many #EpsteinFiles (see 👇), it has the same voice as Epstein. "no fun" followed by "btw I'm the real victim" is more or less exactly what I'd expect the man's final message to the world to be.

🧵2/Ω epstein used the word "fun" as a quasi-synonym for "life".

his friends often asked each other "fun?" as a way of making an inquiry somewhere between "how's life?" and "how many 18 yr old russian models are in the club with you right now?"

🧵3/Ω Epstein explicitly described a huge % of all the people & events in the #EpsteinFiles as either "fun" (girls, celebs, scientists) or "not fun" (wives, the FBI, the death of a parent)

in this world death would be just "no more fun" whereas a life sentence would be "not fun"

🧵4/Ω Epstein really wanted the world to believe he was at least innocent enough to knock the words "sex offender" out of his google results (terrible for recruiting)

marvel at the self centeredness of his attempt to explain his crimes the unsent draft email below:

🧵5/Ω the same kind of narcissm that allowed epstein to remain unbothered by all the girls he damaged can be felt in the su*c*de note. instead of "sorry to everyone i just couldn't deal" we get "i'm the real victim".

it tracks as something he would put his final message.

🧵6/Ω the note could have been written for Epstein's first unsuccessful su*c*de attempt.

nick tartaglione, who later "found" the note wedged into a book, was his cell mate at the time. official story is that tartaglione alerted the guards when he found epstein unconscious

🧵7/Ω of course while it's not crazy to think that epstein could've left such a note in tartaglione's book to be discovered later it's also important to remember that tartaglione is literally a contract killer who worked for the mafia.

🧵8/Ω the kind of person w/the power to send a guy like Tartaglione to kill Epstein is probably also more than capable of forging a note and planting it in Tartaglione's cell, so in the end i come down somewhere around 65/35 on the note being real vs. not real.

🧵9/Ω also while the note is v. short it's actually much longer than almost every email the man ever wrote other than the whinging "i'm the real victim" text in 🧵4/Ω above. the note's length is roughly what i would expect for a message epstein put work into.

🧵11/Ω to clarify: it's 100% possible that both these things are true:

1. the note is real (meaning written by epstein before a real su*c*de attempt)

2. the note is unrelated to his actual death (bc he wrote it before his first failed attempt)
