1/ The Russian warblogger 'Fighterbomber', a retired Russian air force pilot, is taking heavy flak from other warbloggers for disclosing a fuel delivery to Crimea that the Ukrainians promptly blew up. "Go fuck yourself. Preferably holding hands," he responds. ⬇️

2/ On 17 June, in an apparent attempt to refute widespread accounts of fuel shortages in Crimea, 'Fighterbomber' wrote on his Telegram channel: "The audience is saying that fuel has arrived in Crimea. Lots of it. There's more coming. 😍"

3/ Three days later, Ukrainian forces struck the Kerch oil terminal's fuel depot, causing a major fire. An official Ukrainian Telegram channel trolled Fighterbomber by crediting the warblogger for the strike (it's unlikely that he had any influence on it).

4/ Nonetheless, this was enough for other Russian warbloggers to pile on the denunciations. Vladimir Romanov pithily calls him "a moron" and writes:

5/ “The channel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces unit officially expressed gratitude to the idiot for the information, which contributed to the strike on the TES-Terminal-1 fuel terminal in Kerch. I think the relevant services in Voronezh deserve a personal "thank you".

6/ 'Archangel Spetsnaz' isn't impressed:

"Special thanks to some Russian channels that started reporting that fuel is being quietly shipped to Crimea by ferry."

[Note – Ukraine has also now attacked and disabled the ferries.]

7/ "It's not that the enemy is stupid or lacking intelligence, but still, this is incomprehensible in the fifth year of the war."

'Helicopterpilot', another serving military blogger, is equally unimpressed:

8/ "Fuck, I almost forgot! Some "expert" there happily wrote: "Fuel has arrived in Crimea! Lots of it! And more is coming!" I open Aksyonov's channel, and he announces a complete halt to fuel sales on the peninsula. So where did it all go, you idiot? 😁"

9/ 'Faust's Mouthpiece Z' has an invitation for 'Fighterbomber':

"If I were you, you probably should keep your mouth shut and not spread it around, given the large audience, insider information, rumors, and information you're being fed, you chumba.

10/ "By the way, are you even fighting? What kind of plane are you bombing in? So let me help you out, join my unit, or the guys in Zaporizhzhia.

11/ "...Your time will soon be up, and the young hotheads who've been in this meat grinder for years now not only should, but are obligated to replace you and other clown bloggers like you, who've forgotten what military life is like and are now making a living…

12/ …off state-funded food, training camps, stars for their writing, and much, much more."

Andrey Filatov is particularly scathing:

"It's clear that the enemy was already monitoring the flow of fuel and lubricants into Crimea and their accumulation."

13/ "Firstly, there are satellite images that can be used to see how the oil storage facility is "breathing" vapors and determine how full it is. Of course, [the Ukrainians] weren't planning on hitting an empty tank.

14/ "But that's a different matter. Each such raid costs several million dollars: in birds, in logistics, in the preparations. If anyone's curious, ask how much fuel costs in [Ukraine] – it's not cheap there either, and they try to spend it wisely.

15/ "So, they need to find diesel fuel, find trucks to transport these long-range aircraft. So, preparing all this crap costs millions of dollars. And hitting, for example, an empty tank – well, that's not so great.

16/ "It's clear that they're gathering intelligence using various methods to confirm it from various sources.

17/ "And just when they've gathered all the intelligence and realize it's time to strike, Fighterbomber comes running out with a flag: "That's right, awesome, we've got everything, let's fucking go!"

18/ "He tried to do [crisis management], but he overdid it and gave [the Ukrainian] extra confirmation for his goals, plus a reason to mock the situation in the media. There's a simple and succinct name for this: moron.

19/ "And [the Ukrainian] will do the right thing by blowing this case up. The swine is giving our moron the go-ahead to tighten the screws on concerned citizens because of the shit of a boastful braggart who's sucking dick."

20/ However, 'Fighterbomber' isn't going down without a fight (or a bomb). In a now-deleted post, he writes:

"There, domestic internet fighters, having read [Ukro] publics, decided that I bombed Kerch.

I report. Go fuck yourself. Preferably holding hands."

21/ "Anyone who wants to fight, contact me. I will help. I also report that fuel has arrived in the Central Federal District, Southern Military District, Siberia, and the Far East. More will arrive tomorrow. And then every day. A lot. And it will come to Crimea again.

22/ "And it will come today too. Hundreds of details. A tank was spotted in the Kaliningrad region. A warship in the Baltic Sea. An airplane in the sky.

Spread this information urgently!" /end
