/ Enormous numbers of casualties have reduced some Russian assault units to as little as 32% of their authorised strength. Leaked data shows widespread undermanning, with dozens of UAV specialists reported to have been sent to stormtrooper units to replace casualties. ⬇️
/ An officer of the 752nd Guards Motor Rifle Regiment (military unit 34670), part of the 3rd Motor Rifle Division of the 20th Guards Combined Arms Army, has reportedly leaked manpower data from the regiment. It shows very low levels of staffing among assault units.
/ According to the roster, the assault units of the 752nd Regiment should have 2,078 personnel, but in reality, only 1,014 are listed. This represents 48% of the overall authorised strength. Figures for some assault units are as low as a third of their authorised strength.
/ The reason, according to the officer, is that the regiment has sustained heavy losses in fighting Ukrainian forces and is unable to replace its personnel – likely an indication of faltering recruitment, which has been reported elsewhere.
/ Other units in the regiment are better staffed, with the battalion and detachment command and control reported to be almost 100% staffed, as is the military police platoon, with its full complement of 15 personnel.
/ According to another leaked document, dozens of UAV specialists from the regiment were transferred to stormtrooper units in June 2026 to replace casualties. Similar personnel transfers have repeatedly been reported from other Russian units.
/ The consequences are usually very negative for the units concerned. The UAV operators, who often lack assault training, quickly become casualties themselves, and the regiment's UAV capabilities are severely degraded by the loss of so many trained specialists. /end
