🧵Fmr CIA Director Brennon is seeking a court order that would require Blanche, Kash, Ratcliffe, and others to preserve records from the ongoing investigations targeting him.
If indicted, he plans to file motion(s) to dismiss based on vindictive and selective prosecution, so he'll need those records to support such a motion.
The folks named in the lawsuit are already required to preserve such records, but Brennan is asking a judge to tell them they better do it, or else...
The complaint confirms two investigations into Brennan:
A.) for a grand conspiracy against Trump
and
B.) in regard to false statements to Congress

B. The False-Statements Investigation
The first is worth the effort; the second is a waste of time IMO.
"According to conversations with the supervising prosecutors, Director Brennan has been officially designated as the target — in fact, so far as undersigned counsel is aware, the only currently declared target — of both investigations."
DOJ has run and is possibly still running material and witnesses by and through grand juries in Miami and D.C.
These referrals, the grand juries, the subpoenas, Trump's posts, the allegations of "phantom criminal conduct"—it's all giving Brennan a bad headache.
