Anthony Fauci, writing in his diary in March 2020, clearly loving life:

"Big front page article abut me appeared in the Washington Post. Very flattering. The situation with my national and international fame is explosive and really unimaginable. It is not hyoperbole [sic] to say that today I am the most famous and talked about person in the country and one of the most recognizable peson [sic] in the world.

"Countless profiles on me in multiple media. I cannot even read all the things that are written abuyt me since I am so busy….seriously. POTUS seems to be enamored of me even though I am taking the spotlight away from him. We are developing a very unique and interesting relationship. The entire secret service corps is coming over to me and chatting. They let me into the first gate without even checking ID."

Fauci, April 2020: "Continued crazy stuff: Petition to name me “Sexiest Man Alive”; videos games named after me; Fauci Bobblehead; dishes in redstaurants [sic] named after me, and on and on."

Fauci, April 2021, recounting being celebrated at a pizza restaurant at American University: "I walked out of the restaurant with Andre Jacobs, my security man, and the entire population of people who are eating outdoors at
Al Dente and Chef Geoff’s burst into a prolonged round of applause. It was really quite charming."

Fauci, June 2022, after being awarded an honorary doctorate from Rockefeller University: "At the end of his presentation Rockefeller President Rick Lifton was very generous in his praise for me and pointed out that the audience at the celebratory dinner was giving me a
standing ovation, which I could not see since I was connected to the affair by Zoom. It has been
an extraordinary spring with all of these wonderful honors that I have received. This will have
been my 58th honorary doctorate."

Fauci, Aug 2022, recounting his "perfect" first pitch at a Mariners game & complaining some media reported on people booing:

"This was a perfect pitch to the manager of the Mariners, Scott Servais, who served as the catcher. Sat in the “owner’s box” at the stadium and watched the game. Had a great conversation with Eddie Vedder (lead vocalist and guitarist for the rock band Pearl Jam.) and his wife Jill. Eddie reminds me a lot of Bono.

"One of the things that was striking about the evening at the ball game was that when they announced me as receiving the award with giant pictures of me on the photocam, I received a prolonged standing ovation from 45,000 people in the stands. Yet, the far right as exemplified by the newspaper The Washington Examiner put on YouTube the headline “Fauci booed at
Mariners game. They put the microphone next to about five or six people out of 45,000 who were booing and saying I should go to jail and they completely ignored the 45,000 people that gave me a prolonged standing ovation. This is so exemplary of the distortion of reality by the far right."

Fauci, October 2022, talking about being "mobbed" by groupies seeking selfies:

"Nice 50th Anniversary Gala of NAM at the Building Museum. I was individually recognized and got a prolonged standing ovation. Heartwarming as I as totally mobbed by my colleagues wanting selfies. I must have done at least 100 (no exaggerating!)"

Fauci, October 2022: "Humbling experience for me as I received a prolonged standing ovation from the crowd of 6000 people as I walked on to the stage to introduce Larry. Also, the IDSA established a perpetual prize in my name the IDSA Anthony S. Fauci Prize for 'courage in leadership in speaking scientific truth, perseverance in the face of opposition and serving as a change agent for
health care and patients around the world.'"

Fauci, Aug. 2021: "Millions of people idolize me"

Also note his tone pretending to dislike fame.

Looks like almost 70 percent of Fauci's diary are just press clippings about Fauci, w/ his own self-flattery sprinkled between.

He should be sent to a laboratory, studied & observed, so scientists can try to understand how an ego can consume its host.
