Thread of the most enjoyable things I read in 2017 (ideal late stocking fillers!) #BestBooks
1. Sapiens by @harari_yaval
You will stop and whisper 'Wow' time and again. One to be savoured.
Honourable mention too to the sequel 'Homo Deus'. Similarly mind-expanding.
2. A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara
Some love, some hate. I love it. All of human emotion is here. Haunts long after the final page. @alittlelifebook
3. Conclave by @robert__harris
Masterfully constructed, high drama in the Vatican. Throws you into the soul of Catholicism. You'll zip through it.
4. Seven Brief Lessons on Physics by @carlorovelli
Read in 30 minutes and it will change how you think about the universe and your place in it. Impact-to-page ratio: 10/10.
5. Conversations With Friends by @sallyrooney
A delightful, fearless take on modern relationships. The dialogue is something else, and Rooney's voice is enchanting. A superb debut.
So there you go folks. What were your top books in 2017? Do share :)
