Hey @TLRailUK why is the 19.14 from West Hampstead cancelled? When’s the next train to Mill Hill?
Hey @TLRailUK why not just go back to the old timetable? Serious question. This is shit. #thameslinkfail

I’m sceptical about this role. Why do you ask? Well, let me tell you.... (Thread 1/12) labour.org.uk/current-vacanc…
First - It's good the Party want more audience insight. But social media is a subset of an audience and we should be investing in more polling and focus groups than expensive tools which aren’t that great at political audience insight.
I met a lot of these organisations who all thought they could revolutionise my insights. But these tools aren’t built for the unique challenges of political campaigns. And generally end up under-delivering on promises. Great for brand monitoring shoes. Not voter sentiments.

Next in my geek series of Presidential A/B tests. Whats better - "ambitious goal" Vs "Help Joe and Kamala take back the White House". Let's wait and see! ImageImage
Trump, like Biden is also running an A/B test on his pop up donate ask. But with far more variation. This one is a little rotating GIF. ImageImage
The others are all static. Interestingly, all of the pop-ups have a default amount selected of $1000 which seems a bit steep. But guess it works for them. 🤷‍♂️ ImageImageImageImage

US election time means lots of fun geeking out looking at A/B tests running on websites. And here are some fun things that a little bit of digging have found. Joebiden.com is running @optimizley and there are a couple of tests running right now... 1/4
The Lightbox popup on the website seems to be a focus of tests at the moment. Makes sense($$$). Testing starting amounts between $25 vs $15. This test has just ended. And in new tests it looks like they've settled on $15. Found a winner... 2/4 ImageImage
Next test which helpful called "Copy of Lightbox convention thermometer - GAqBLm" is testing the thermometer. (Obvs). Thermometer is a tried and tested method which they're optimising to see if it will work again. Note - settled on $15 as starting amount here. 3/4 Image

Why are all the trains from Mill Hill cancelled @TLRailUK? Wrong type of rain? 🌧
.@TLRailUK .21 cancelled. .29 cancelled. 37 delayed. Chance of getting on it with all the people here and other delayed passengers... 0.
.@TLRailUK ... Don't worry I'll respond. "Apologies for the inconvenience, Tom. You can delay reclaim here. thameslinkrailway.com/contact-us/del…"
