Every year once it gets too cold to use the grill I forget what using the grill is like. Christ, it's just *better* at cooking than a stove.
We got a new one and I've grilled everything since we got it. It's fast, it cooks evenly, it's much harder to burn things. I love steamed zucchini normally but I grilled some the other day and it was like a completely new food
The prep is simpler. We just cut them once lengthwise and lay them on the grill and that's it. You don't have to baby it, everything is tastier. It's criminal that this isn't available to everyone.
This should be the default way to cook food.
Not like a bourgeouise "everyone should have a bugatti, it's the only way to drive," no, I mean, as a person who is sad and anxious and time-pressed, it is very hard for me to make time to cook. The grill is so much faster and easier that my brain lets me do it.
It's harder to fuck up. You don't have to wash pans afterwards. Christ.
