1.First rule to memorize and accept when dealing with and trying to understand the Democrats/Marxists/socialists.

Rule 1: THEY ARE NOT CAPITALISTS
2. This is the most important rule you have to learn in the today's political environment. It will save you time and useless political attacks when you try to answer their actions, ideas and talking points.
3. Let me repeat the rule again.

Rule 1: THE LEFT ARE NOT CAPITALISTS.
4. What does this mean in real life? It means among other things: they don't care about profit, shareholder wealth, best practices, economics, growing their business, fair play in the workforce, business ethics, laws written by capitalists.
5. For example, Facebook and Twitter stock this week. Does anyone think Zuck and Jake give a crap their stock lost 20%? If you do please reread the first tweet of the thread. In fact I bet they are happy they have lost "those customers" after all that was the plan.
6. Both drew up plans, hired people and directed those people to limit the reach and amount of conservatives on their apps. As far as Zuck and Jake are concerned their plan worked and if it cost them 20% of their stock price who cares.
7. Hell Marxists would consider that a win-win. Not only did they limit the right's power/reach; they also cost real capitalists a lot of money.
8. Now does it make sense? Do you think Hollywood cares about profits? Do you think they are too stupid to know how to make a movie that would make hundreds of millions? They make the garbage they make knowing it won't sell. They don't care. They furthered their main objective.
9. Okay let's review. The first rule to understand when dealing with the left is that they ARE NOT CAPITALISTS.
10. Let's use a government policy example this time. When you hear a leftist say they want universal healthcare is you first counter talking point "how will they pay for it?" If so, you need to reread this entire thread. They don't care about Capitalism or paying for the policy.
11. When Leftists propose raising taxes do you answer "that will hurt the economy?" If so, you aren't getting the point. They don't care about the "economy". They don't care about economic laws like supply and demand. They don't care about the GDP or standard of living.
12. These are the same people that ignore the laws of biology and think you can change genders. Do you think they feel the laws of economics are anything but a capitalist construct? If so, you need to revisit the first rule when dealing with leftists.
13. For those having a hard time following along let me repeat the first rule when dealing with leftists.

Rule 1: LEFTISTS ARE NOT CAPITALISTS
14. When they propose increasing min wage is your answer "Well that will costs jobs?" If so you totally aren't understanding the lesson plan today. They don't care about jobs. If people are out of work they will just tax those working more to pay welfare to those that aren't.
15. But you say "if you increase taxes that will just negate the raise those people got by increasing the min wage." Again leftists don't give a flying shit about individual incomes. The aim for the left wasn't to increase wages it was to increase their power.
16. So to wrap up this lesson. Let's review.

Rule 1: THE LEFT ARE NOT CAPITALISTS

Any questions?
Note. I have no idea if autocorrect made Jack into Jake or if I typed it like a things/think moment. Those are the life and times of Twitter.

I know there has been so much propaganda and attempts to disparage it, but I still believe in free speech. Not just the act of being able to say what you want when you want, but the POWER of free speech. The ability to entertain ideas that are different than the group.
Free speech allows a society to have a vaccine against propaganda. It allows mutations of dangerous speech into a less dangerous idea. It gives an outlet for people who are angry, pissed off, afraid. It exposes hate speech for what it is with no need for some censor to ban it.
It allows new ideas, new thoughts, new protests. It allows a populous to ask for a Redress of their grievances so that they are not required to take up arms to find a compromise. It allows for an informed population that can make more knowledgeable decisions. It speeds up the

When and if truth social becomes available to us, I'll probably move over there but keep this account until they ban me. I joined Twitter a couple years back to see Trump's tweets without the filter of the MSM, but all I got here is more censorship.
I'm not real big on social media in general. Twit is the only one I engage in to any degree and mostly it's to get information and have discussion. Since twit has decided to limit the info I can get, it's only because of those that follow me that I keep coming back.
I do enjoy interacting with all of you, I always say I have the best group of followers on twit. It rare in this day and age that people can have polite conversations even when we disagree, but the vast majority of the people in my timeline do this regularly.

I don't know many things. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I also know many things. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I'm confident that what I know is true, yet intelligent enough to understand maybe some of it isn't. However, not knowing is not a reason to be paralyzed into inaction.
You have one life to live in this world. You can do whatever you want with it, maybe. It's known that there are people out there that like nothing better than to try to take your life & make it their own by telling you how to live it. You can of course follow their wishes/orders.
You can also tell them to go fuck themselves. Of course telling these people is not enough because they will still think and act as if they own you. At that point you have to make some type of decision. Do you submit and follow along? Do you withdrawal and hope they ignore you?

Society in every state is a blessing, but government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one; for when we suffer, or are exposed to the same miseries by a government, which we might expect in a country without government,
...our calamity is heightened by reflecting that we furnish the means by which we suffer. Government, like dress, is the badge of lost innocence; the palaces of kings are built on the ruins of the bowers of paradise. For were the impulses of conscience clear, uniform, and
...irresistibly obeyed, man would need no other lawgiver; but that not being the case, he finds it necessary to surrender up a part of his property to furnish means for the protection of the rest; and this he is induced to do by the same prudence which in every other case advises

So, not sure if I had covid, think I did. Had all the symptoms but well I don't know for sure. Still it's been about 3 weeks. I wouldn't call The bug I had mild. I hate to get sick. First week was the worse. Fever, chills, sore throat, headache from hell, weak, wasn't hungry
....muscle aches. You know the typical stuff you get from a flu or a cold. The last two weeks had sinus trouble and unproductive cough, couldn't sleep much because of both. Just couldn't get comfortable, sore throat was the worst though. Trouble swallowing and drinking.
Taste buds rebelled, they are still on strike, but today I felt almost 99% normal. The bug seems to come and go in waves. Some days over the last 3 weeks I felt fine. Not 100% but good enough then I'll wake up and be miserable the next day. Strange bug.

Leftists are not capitalists.

I say this simple truth over and over, but for some reason many people don't get it. They don't believe it. They can't wrap their heads around it. They just will not see. Not sure how to explain it any easier. Leftists are not capitalists.
Sure, they may live with, use, and enjoy the trappings of capitalism. They may enjoy having plentiful food, nice homes, indoor plumbing, energy on tap, cellphones, the internet, streaming movies channels, social media platforms, etc etc etc
But see here is the thing. Well, a couple of things. One, they don't really believe deep down in their souls that most of those things they have are due to capitalism. Most think they can have all of those things without capitalism and to a certain degree they are right.
