I like Uber's rebrand a lot. #designtwitter gave a lot of 💩 about how simple the logo is. I highly recommend you look at the whole system, and its purpose. Even though I loved the authenticity of the last Uber brand, I think the new brand is ace! Much more flexible, and slick.
You can read the write up (definitely some agency language) and check out the system here: wolffolins.com/case-studies/u…

Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Hi Design Twitter, how do y'all organize your Figma pages for websites and apps? Screenshots 📸
Mkay, until recently we've have been collecting all of our design files under one team. Then create projects for each platform, then files under each platform. We have lots of platforms to design 🤓
Then we created a single file for our iOS app, which would be structured like this. Soon enough this file became extremely bloated = slow load times.
Still looking into how to organize a deep iOS app with (probably) too many unique flows.
I will try to collect things I used to do in 90s that are so different now 👇
No smartphones. We used to bike up and down the street to see if friends were out. We had special whistles for different occasions. Things like, let's go bike around, or we're playing soccer down the street, etc.
Music... Where to start.
Sitting by the radio, recording songs to a cassette. I would call and make requests for songs. Since I grew up in this massive city of Istanbul with so many people, actually getting to make a request was super rare, but I have done it. It felt so special.
Just realized I hit my 1 yr mark at @CarbonHealth. It's been such a rewarding year, but especially since #COVID19 started. The projects we've been working on have been so different than others in many ways.
I won't go in detail of every single project we shipped (@erenbali does a pretty good job with his frequent updates so go follow him for that)
But here are some thoughts 👇
It's been a little hectic since #COVID19 started for our team. Early on we made the hard decision to have our HQ team wfh, while our clinical teams were on the frontlines. Normally we work side-by-side. Literally. Our HQ is adjacent to our FiDi clinic...
