Well, I just did a live video on the “Why” of the FBI removing donald’s name/images from the Epstein files, and I apparently didn’t do a setting where it would record and save?
Fuck it. I’ll go ahead and type it all out for you in a thread. Bear with me… /1
Do you really believe a reported 1000 or so FBI agents/personnel would comb through the mountains of evidence and gathered information on Jeffrey Epstein to meticulously remove any mention or appearance of donald trump - AND keep their collective mouths shut (meaning, no official whistleblower), if there weren’t an official policy they were following? /2
No. You don’t believe that. Even under Bondi and Patel’s leadership - and all their moral/ethical corruption, a thousand FBI employees are not going to do something that isn’t by the book.
So, how is this mass-redaction effort “by the book”? Well, it’s not because donald is POTUS. That’s not a thing.
But… as ‘ve been saying for a decade now… it is by the book to protect the confidential informant(s) involved in the case.
There are legal agreements with CIs to protect them, that the FBI must follow. Even if Congress passes a law, employees are doing their jobs - by their own book, to protect CIs and in this case, perform their jobs redactions without opening their mouths about it. There’s no whistleblower process either for agents/employees who are following official DOJ policy/rules.
Hence: no leaks on this.
