They wrapped Jesus in a Nudie suit
and sat him at the right hand of the market.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
Full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
You have been corrupted!

You have been corrupted by false teachers among you,
who privily brought in damnable heresies
The arrogant, ignorant errors of fundamentalism,
the heretical and occult nonsense of
Dominionism, Integralism, the Prosperity gospel,
and, God help us all, Objectivism.

Woe unto you, Christian Right!
Woe unto you who have reduced and diminished
The Lord Of Hosts down to an apparatus to serve your own
small ideas and ambitions.

You’ve been taught to ignore objective truth and reason
and become comfortable destroying a world you were charged stewardship of.
You’ve been taught to compartmentalize
or eliminate your own empathy.

You’ve become content with treating women as lesser souls.
You’ve become advocates of separating children from parents.
You’ve become supporters of putting babies in cages.
You’ve become known for rejecting the stranger seeking refuge.

You call yourselves pro-life. You are not pro-life.
You’ve become pro-gun
You have become pro-the wealthy and powerful
You have become pro-money changers and Mammon
You have become anti-Christ.
