i watched the clip. i see a man trying to run away and another man, in total control and no danger, holding him in place and shooting him because he wanted to. he did it because he wanted to kill and has always wanted to kill. republicans want to kill for fun. they like killing.
i assume he's republican. i didn't check. it doesn't matter. he's an old white man and they like killing. they talk about killing their whole lives. it's what white men, especially white men, do. their response to everything is killing.
back in march i was talking about this. this is how white men talk to each other. killing, killing, killing. it's the first words out of our mouths about any problem, anywhere.
fascism and fear is in our culture, it might as well be in our blood. we talk about killing from our earliest memories. it means nothing to us. eventually some of us talk ourselves into buying a gun and holding it all the time, never putting it down
so either we're racist, and the opportunity is presented to do what we always said we'd do "about them," and it's very deliberate, or it's that kind of accident that isn't an accident at all, the way felony murder is still a murder
i've seen a number of videos like this and i always think about how confused and uncertain the white men look. they always look so hesitant. i think a lot of the time it's a miserable, pathetic mess of confused emotions and thoughts
i think in cold blood a man like this would choose not to shoot someone who isn't a danger, but as soon as you push their blood pressure up just a little - like, the normal kind of anxiety we all face every day - all the conditioning they self-imposed comes in
i think in that moment white men may well say to ourselves "no, i have to, i always said i would shoot someone who was shoplifting" and have a shitty, bad-faith little debate club for 4.7 seconds that ends with a tepid "better safe than sorry" and a murder
it always looks like that in the videos. it doesn't look deliberate. it looks like a confused white man who has never been in the middle of anything Real and this is the first time any of their shitty convictions has been tested
and they find out that the shit they imagined doing to "a criminal" in the shower for 40 years was wrong, and horrible, and inhuman, and now they're seeing that it doesn't fit the facts of life at all, and that's their own damn fault and they belong in prison for life
it's way easier to not be a murderer if you don't have fucked up murder fantasies every single day on purpose and encourage them in yourself but i know how white men actually work and it's murder fantasies every single day. we're raised on them and told they're good.
white people love killing. we love the idea of killing. killing is really important to us culturally. we love to kill and to talk about killing and the conservatives are ten times worse than anyone who wouldn't call themself a conservative
everything is always about killing. at age thirteen i talked about killing every day. killing was my response to most news that i heard. killing was what i thought of when i saw people who weren't like me. the first thing on every white persons mind is killing

I now receive multiple shill offers daily. Most are "from" electronics "manufacturer" storefronts on amazon that likely do not exist as anything more than a sheet of paper in a government office in China and one of hundreds of rollstamps at a factory in Shenzhen.
I can't figure out the scam, honestly. I'm positive these "businesses" don't exist in any meaningful way - all the six-letter names you see on Amazon and Aliexpress cannot have staff and offices. There have to be millions of them, it's unthinkable.
so it turns out that the rubberized coating on the Latitude E6420 is not the only thing that high-test isopropyl dissolves. it strips the paint right off the plastic.
well, nothing to do but to do it
the upper 2" of paint are absolutely nuclear-grade. must be baked on there from years of heat, took as long to remove 1/3 of that part as it took to strip the whole rest of the thing
One of the folks on my patron discord was looking for someone to rip some Betacam tapes, and I have a deck just gathering dust, so they sent them over. Neither of us had any idea what was on them.

There are periodic title cards, so I know it's from 1991. If anyone recognizes the characters, lmk.
a thing that rocks about minidisc is that it was sold for long enough, and at enough different price points, that you can have whichever electronics aesthetic you want
