Portland cop Thomas Clark’s use of force “was justified,” and no criminal charges will be brought, the D.A. said today
- 8 other use of force cases shut “without further investigation”
- 4 cases (involving 1 Officer) at DOJ
- 4 pending DA review
Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt said today the eight cases were shut "after the plaintiff’s attorney or person injured declined to participate" OR because they received no response from the person/attorney at all
The four cases pending at the Oregon Department of Justice all refer to "Officer 67," who Willamette Week has identified as Portland Police Detective Erik Kammerer
