After offering respectful obeisances unto the presiding deities Nara-Naryana Rishi, unto the subject of the work Krishna, unto the sakti of the work Sarasvati and unto the sage entrusted with the work Srila Vyäsadeva, one should utter "Jaya."

O sages, I have been justly questioned by you. Your questions are worthy because they relate to Lord Kṛṣṇa and so are of relevance to the world's welfare. Only questions of this sort are capable of completely satisfying the self.
