40 years of Neoliberalism has broken our nation.

In 1976, three decades of post war settlement saw the UK reach peak equality, and better off than it had ever been before or since.

Services are now run in the interests of shareholders, rather than those who pay for them.

Tory run Northamptonshire CC are effectively bankrupt after reducing their core staff from 4,500 to 150, outsourcing every single one of its services (inc child protection) to private providers, reducing itself to the role of a commissioning body.

Labour’s National Education Service (NES) will do the same for the 21st century, making education a right not a privilege.

Whilst the Conservatives allow poverty wages and insecure work to spread, Labour will act to guarantee good jobs and businesses.

With more than half a million members, the vast majority of Labour’s funding comes from our members. Whereas, the Conservative party is heavily reliant on donations from corporations and the super rich.

Our politicians should represent us, not their corporate paymasters.
