Mueller is tasked with investigating foreign interference and any conspiracy to influence the 2016 election.

Will Trump be indicted or named? We don’t know.

Even if he’s not, here are 10 other investigations by 9 different entities that may expose additional crimes
Investigation 1

Violation of campaign finance laws being investigated by the
Southern District Of New York

After all, Michael Cohen plead guilty to an indictment naming Individual-1.

vox.com/2019/2/27/1824…
Investigation 2
Irregular spending by Trump’s inaugural committee
(SD of NY)

Trump raised a record $107 million for his inauguration.

Prosecutors are investigating allegedly booking rooms at the Trump Hotel at inflated prices, mail and wire fraud, and money laundering
Investigation 3
Unregistered foreign lobbying (SDNY investigation)

Danger for Trump: The case shows the pro-Russian tilt of his campaign manager and his allegedly illegal operations
Investigation 4
Irregular super PAC finances

Danger for Trump: The case shows how those close to Trump misused campaign money and facilitated improper access to the president by foreign influencers from Ukraine and Russia from the very beginning.

nytimes.com/2018/12/13/us/…
Investigation 5
Allegedly illegal operations by the Donald J. Trump Foundation

This case is especially damaging for the president. Fmr. NY AG Underwood said the Trump Foundation functioned as “a checkbook to serve Mr. Trump’s business and political interests”
Investigation 6
Allegations of tax fraud and tax evasion by the Trump family

Evidence of systemic tax evasion could strike a major blow to Trump’s credibility.

Investigation 7
United States v. Maria Butina

Butina plead guilty to conspiring with a Russian government official and an American to infiltrate Republican political groups like the NRA to influence American politics.

She’s cooperating with prosecutors.

Investigation 8
Russian disinformation campaign, Project Lakhta

Used social media to interfere in the 2016 presidential and 2018 midterm elections, worked to “sow discord in the U.S. political system and to undermine faith in our democratic institutions”
Investigation 9
Improper Turkish influence inside Trump’s campaign and administration

Michael Flynn and his business partner Bijan Kian allegedly served as unregistered lobbyists for Turkish interests.

Flynn is cooperating with Mueller and will testify against Kian.
Investigation 10
Alleged violations of the U.S. Constitution’s emoluments clause (MD and DC AGs)

The Washington Post reported that Saudi lobbyists had paid for an estimated 500 nights in Trump’s D.C. hotel so veterans could lobby against a bill the Saudi government opposed.
H/t to @brjodonnell at foreignpolicy.com for putting all this together

P.S. this doesn’t include all of the House investigations going on either.

Fascinating look into what's driving today's Republicans.

1. Top 2 issues that GOP voters care about? illegal immigration and lack of support for the police.

(Neither of which affects their lives on a daily basis)

#DemCast Thread/1

nytimes.com/2021/03/26/opi…
What do GOP voters think?
2. Politics is not about enacting good public policy, but "ensuring the country’s survival as we know it“
3. They suffer from Religious persecution(?)
/2
What's driving GOP voters?
4. Fear and anxiety from losing cultural and economic power
5. Republicans come into contact with a lot of news, but they’re primed to distrust the majority of it, and overwhelmingly believe that media is not working for the good of the people.

Sometimes, it's what Trump doesn't say that shows his distain for American Troops.

Putin paid bounties to Taliban enemies to kill American soldiers and not a word from Donald Trump

Trump has met his commitments to LGBTQ?

Let’s count the ways he’s systematically stripped protections:

1) All mention of LGBTQ issues removed from the WH webpage 2 hours after he was sworn in

2) DOJ stopped enforcing protections for transgender students
washingtonpost.com/opinions/trump…
3) Devos revoked transgender student protections under Title X

4) Struck questions on sexual orientation and gender identity from the 2020 census

5) Refuses to support Equality Act

6) Executive Order to allow DOJ to permit discrimination on the basis of “religious freedom”
7) Banned Transgender people from serving in the military

8) Ending DACA affected 75,000 LGBTQ Dreamers

9) Devos rescinded Title X protections about sexual harassment in schools, which disproportionately affects LGBTQ students

What’s life like in America’s concentration camps for kids? Here are their stories.

M.G. Is a Mexican teenager. "I cried every day because I didn’t want to be there," he said. "I felt so alone that I was even losing my appetite. I didn't leave the bed.”
miaminewtimes.com/news/children-…
M.G. was put in solitary confinement for 8 days

He spent his 16th birthday crying. Early last July, he asked to go home. That was when he was sent to the roomful of bunks and left there by himself for more than a week. He never found out why — not even when his mom called to ask
N.J. was separated from her family. Again and again, She asked the guards where her father was.

"But they would yell at me telling me to remain quiet and saying that I didn’t belong because the government didn’t want Guatemalans, Hondurans, or Salvadorans in the United States,"

10 Footnotes you need to read from Mueller’s report:

On October 30, 2016, Michael Cohen received a text from Russian businessman Giorgi Rtskhiladze that said, 'Stopped flow of tapes from Russia but not sure if there's anything else. Just so you know”
Trump wanted Clapper to say the dossier was bogus:

"See 1/11/17 Email, Clapper to See I /11 /17 Email, Clapper to Comey ('He asked if I could put out a statement. He would prefer of course that I say the documents are bogus, which, of course, I can't do.')
Mueller specifically says:

"Congress has authority to prohibit a President's corrupt use of his authority in order to protect the integrity of the administration of justice."

Wonder why Mueller felt he had to say that?

Leaked emails show that
Maria Butina and Russian Central Bank Governor Alexander Torshin facilitated a NRA delegation to Moscow.

NRA officials believed they were meeting with Kremlin power players who could connect them to Putin./1

thedailybeast.com/nra-heavyweigh…
The organizer of the trip, Republican Paul Erickson, believed he was securing an interview with Putin and believed the trip could have “enormous diplomatic consequences.” The email, sent in Nov 2015 came just months before the Kremlin’s election meddling went into full gear./2
So let’s be clear. A powerful American company with a huge lobbying apparatus is apparently conspiring with an adversarial foreign government to influence our elections. I hope they kept some money back for the criminal defense fund. /3
