ANNOUNCEMENT: Inexplicably we trusted @Nigel_Farage when he predicted the #MarchToLeave would see 100s of core marchers and 1000s of supporters each day. So we booked 2 advans. Now it’s clear the organisers failed & Farage has fled. And here at @ByDonkeys we punch up, not down... Image
We have respect for people who peacefully protest, but not for the millionaires and opportunists who exposed the walkers to ridicule. So we’re pulling 1 advan and sending it to London to track down Farage. The other one will stay with the march but we’re downscaling our coverage.
It’s sad to see the walkers abandoned like this. So we’re going after @Nigel_Farage. Have you seen him? There was a sighting yesterday afternoon at a pub next to the BBC (surprise). Is he at a Mayfair club? Wherever he is, he sure as hell isn’t walking from Wetherby to Pontefract

On Wednesday morning we climbed the scaffolding outside Labour's London HQ and installed the kind of billboard we wish the party would run. Here’s why 🧵 Activists installing banner outside Labour HQ with a quote from Keir Starmer from February 2020 that reads "...millions of people vote in safe seats and they feel their voice doesn't count. That's got to be addressed by electoral reform."
Proportional representation is not the answer to every ill this country is facing. No electoral system is perfect. But PR is fairer and would better equip Britain to deal the massive challenges we face.
As things stand our politics is largely focused on placating a few tens of thousands of people in marginal seats.

After a couple of billboards, an advan at their HQ, more than 2.5 million views on films, and escalating pressure, Sainsbury’s did the right thing. (This tweet 👇is careful corporate speak for “we’ve stopped now”).
Huge thanks to everyone who contacted @sainsburys, to the volunteers at @StopFundingHate who’ve been monitoring the channel and to the staff at the supermarket as well for pushing for this change
