📢 45's budget proposal has massive cuts to Education, HHS, SSI, EPA and 15 other departments. Only six departments are not receiving cuts with DOD having the largest increase. This thread exposes this heartless budget designed to pay back the #GOPTaxScam at our expense.

Trump promised no SSI cuts....oh never mind here are the cuts to SSI and it's programs.

Education is facing massive cuts.

There is one area related to education that increased and is hidden on page 130, not in the Education section of the budget. I call it the , "Betsy DeVos federal education fund for filling her bank account with my tax dollars" scholarship fund.

#MAGA and vets that support 45 here are the cuts to the VA. So much winning and support for vets.

#MAGA it appears 45 shares the budget love with his Farmers by slashing the Agriculture budget. Food Safety inspections and Crop Insurance take a tremendous hit. 45 shure does love the farmers.

This section of the budget, Restrain spending to protect and respect American taxpayers, shows just how much 45 respects us by cutting the programs that restrain spending and protect us.

It's obvious, we the American people are not the focus of this budget and never have been. The focus of this budget is on stripping education, safety net programs and health care programs under the guise of an out of control national debt.

A national debt created by the GOP and Trump with trillions in tax cuts to corporations and the oligarchs of this country. This admin has only had one goal from the beginning, eliminate any and all social programs not benefiting the wealthy.

The GOP claims to care about us and the national debt, it is painfully obvious they only care about their bank accounts and their oligarch employers bank accounts. Call and email your reps to vote no on this budget, Trump and the GOP band of thieves have to be stopped.

The education budget or lack of, DeVos gets $$$ for her charter schools so her oligarch friends and her can fatten their bank accounts. While cutting 39 programs that aid or help millions of children and adults. Snap shot, budget fact sheet.

Literacy takes another hit, Libraries. Of note the budget states that programs getting axed "may take advantage of" and names servera programs or funds. "May" does not mean it will be approved and if on the Fed level I am sure it won't be.

Who needs strong leaders and good role models in schools?

Who needs well trained and supported educators?

DeVos is increasing the administrators budget for salaries by $30 mil while cutting full time employees budget by $44 thousand.

DeVos also increased funds for her charter schools...."$500 million for the Charter School Program, an increase of $160 million over the fiscal
year 2018 annualized CR level," Pg 4 (PDF Pg 8)

Not all of the budget is doom and gloom, STEM and CTE are increased.

We must persuade our reps to vote no on Trump and Devos's budgets. They want to gut all social, education and benefit programs that serve %90 of this country. If it does not help/benefit the top 1-10% of the wealthy in the country 45, Devos and the GOP don't care.

Children are our future and we must make sure they have a future with quality education, support programs and health care.
