Getting the economy opened back up 100 percent and folks vaccinated is more important than a 15.00 federal minimum wage right now.

That minimum wage battle need to be fought at the state level as well. I'm more in favor of a regional minimum wage indexed to inflation.
I've paid union dues since I was 21 years old So NO PROGRESSIVE WILL LECTURE ME ABOUT GOOD WAGES AND BENEFITS.

I'm a realist.... if we had the 2009-10 Senate and house numbers I'll be LIVID about no 15.00 an hour.

We don't.

Adapt.
Dems need to show up in off year elections.

Illinois did in 2018..... It paid off.

We went from 1.75 over 7 years to 10.00 that the Republican offered us in 2015 to 11.00 after two years because of the Democrat.

If we could do 2018 over again..... I would rather have Nelson win and Manchin lose.

Nelson at 50 would be much better for us.

Berners and warrenista never accepted Harris as a progressive but she's hard left.

There was a reason I screamed for kamala not chase Sanders and Warren in 2019..... That label STICKS.

I don't like relying on republicans To get shit done..... so I put this one on Manchin.

Even if Sanders wasn't chair and brought up the tweets The GOP made clear they weren't supporting Tanden.

Manchin decided to show he has power now for the first time and a decade.
As in said yesterday, Tanden will be in Biden's administration and made visible if the GOP shoot it down.

Biden can use this to show GOP hypocrisy as they pretty much sided with a man who got his account suspended for "mean tweets."
As far as the press go..... they will be who they are.

The press didn't choose to try to seat Tanden via confirmation.... Biden and his team did. Getting mad at a bored trolling press corp solves absolutely NOTHING and won't change their behavior.
