If there is one thing that could persuade people that Kwarteng wasn't so bad after all...
I do not understand reasoning behind IMF statement: did they think it would (a) make it more likely the govt would change policy...
(b) ensure the govt would dig in and stick to the policy, or
(c) destabilise the govt and bring about a change of policy that way?
