Another solid month of growth for the Closet Assistant. When you have a product that's growing like this it's hard to comprehend how it's all happening.

My goal (back in January) was to hit $10k by the summer. Another month like this one, and that will be reached!
This month I wrote 0 lines of code, and 0 articles for content marketing. It was somewhat of a test to see if it would keep growing without too much effort.

It was the best month yet.

Now, I don't think it will always grow without some improvements, but I think it's a sign.
It's a sign that this product can be depended on. I actually went on vacation last month, and didn't do any work for an entire week. It still increased by ~$500/mo.

I think this is more of a testament to SEO, FB ads, and a good-enough product.
Next month I do plan on doing more. I plan on making more features, overhauling the on-boarding (really love the new @intercom on-boarding e-book), and I plan on writing some content.

It'll be another iteration. Another month of consistent growth.
I wrote a couple of things on my personal blog:

1. Quick SEO Rankings unindie.com/quick-seo/
2. Looking Back unindie.com/looking-back/

Quick SEO rankings explains how I get in the top 10 for keywords. Looking back is a reflection on how things have changed for me personally.
I'm really glad I am documenting my journey. Being able to look back a year ago and see exactly how things have changed is powerful. Sometimes you forget how bad/good it was.

I'll be porting over ~2 years of medium posts as well to my blog to complete the history of my journey.
As always, this is inspiration to go out and create something for yourself. All if the information you need to build something is out there. You can do it! And if I can get to the point I am at now, anyone can.

I used Claude 3.5 Sonnet to write a watercolor style thumbnail prompt to be used with FLUX.1 Pro to update and replace my blog post open graph (social sharing) images and the results are incredible seeing as how it took like 3 seconds and $0.02 per image Image
A list of some other styles Claude recommended: Image
Could absolutely be used for YouTube thumbnails (for us busy people who don't have a lot of time to be creating thumbnails)

Building out a data scraping operation.

$500 per month? Or $500 once for essentially the same thing?

Actually it's closer to the $1000/month variant.
256 GB of ram for $600? Yes please. Image

It's 2023 and you want to boost your SEO traffic. Don't create new content - refresh what you already have!

I made a video that shows my exact steps for refreshing existing content to rank higher for keywords I already rank for (huge value for businesses):
Step 1: Make your content more relevant for 2023.

Things change over time. This causes your content to become stale.

Improve your content by adding or changing any information that may have changed over the last year.

Add the current year to your titles to signal relevance.
Step 2: Optimize your content to rank higher for existing keywords.

Check the Google Search console for keywords you rank in the 5th to 10th position. Looks for high impressions.

Find keywords that could be customers, and update your content to target that keyword specifically.

Some of the highest traffic, lowest competition keywords on Google are brand searches.

People don't search for "shoes" or "laptops". They search for "Nike shoes", or "Apple laptops".

Here's how to syphon a competitor's traffic to build your own audience or business:
Syphon or Siphon?
I would also like to syphon some of your attention by having you sign up for my Inner Circle newsletter.

I'm coming out with a bunch of SEO related products soon and you'll be the first to hear about it:
