Mrs. GRACE DAGBO was shot dead on Saturday night. We received the report from @Ifynwajei and quickly contacted immediately proceeded to the family house of the victim.

The family are heavily facing truma now.

We got to the family house at about 11am yesterday and met an uncontrollable tears and wailings. The 42 years old mother of 4 who left home for work lies lifeless at the Warri Central morgue.

The police in Ovwian stopped her, and

demanded for her tinted permit of a Sienna 1999 model vehicle. She told them she was a decorator and rushing to pack up her materials and since all the other papers were available she wouldn't be able to lay hands on the tinted (factory fitted) permit at that moment. According

to an eye witness, her 9 years old daugther who narrated the ordeal said the police forcefully dragged her mother down from her car, entered her vehicle, drove away leaving the woman and the daugther vulnerable at their check point. However, the woman succeeded in taking her bag

which the police suspected had some good amount of money.

Immediately, a tricycle came, picked up the woman and her daughter, after about 100 meters from the police checkpoint, they dragged her bag with her phone inside the bag, shot her on her rib and left. Her helpless

daugther was also pushed out of the tricycle (keke).
This act of the Ovwian Police violates professionalism if they are not even the ones that orchestrated her death.

The police have too many questions to answer to this regards and we hope the inspector General of Police order

for a thorough investigation into this matter. We shall not rest until justice is done and those policemen prosecuted. We shed tears as we saw the families and little children whom their destinies may be diverted due to motherlessness.

For crying out loud, this woman's death

was avoidable, how can you forcefully drag her down and drove her car away? What sort of unprofessional conduct could be more than this? How would armed robbers be the next Keke when they are aware a police check point is closeby? What parameter could possibly be the evaluation

for taking a woman's car to the police station leaving herself and her daughter behind because of a factory fitted tinted? A people are a reflection of their leader and we hope justice would be done because that's all the family needs right now.

Her confused husband have fallen into a deep depression and could hardly recognise people as his struggling wife had fallen victim of the unprofessional conduct of Ovwian Police brutality. What a world we are. Hopeless and helpless though hopeful.
