Lt. Bob Jillson with @SSPDNY speaking to the search that happened at the backstretch of the track earlier this afternoon. He says this is related to the search for a man who attacked a women over the weekend. 
Lt. Jillson says an investigator spotted who they believed as the suspect in the area of Union Street this afternoon around 12:30. Says the person on bike fled and led them to the backstretch. No arrests have yet been made.
Police do not yet know that the person they are looking for is credentialed in any way by @TheNYRA, all they know is that the man went to the backstretch area.
