1. Setting the narrative. For years this was done by the NYT, WAPO, and the Dem's puppet masters. The nation talked about what THEY wanted to talk about. The GOP lived in fear they would be singled out, cut from the herd, called a racist, sexist, xenophobe &die a political death.
2. Along comes Trump using social media and things change. He is the one now setting the narrative. This is why they hate his Twitter btw. Of course they coach it in different language making it seem they don't like it because of his tone. But the main reason is because it...
3. ...allows him to set the narrative if not for the whole country than for his base and those that aren't total zombies. This is also why the "conservative" "thought" "leaders" like NRO, foxnews, weekly standard and others don't like his use of Twitter.
4. This week and weekend is a perfect example of how Trump sets the narrative. Mueller hearing was an epic failure. There is no question about that from either side. Everyone agrees it was an epic failure. In bygone days, the left with their NYT, WAPO and other fake media....
5. ....would have been able to sweep it under the rug and continue the push for impeachment. They are trying to do just that. Yet, they can't because Trump is setting the narrative. His 20 sec video of Nadler and Nancy's press conference has been seen 5.5 million times.
6. It's funny as hell and highlights the 4 Dem losers have nothing, less than nothing. It's one of the most effective videos on the Russian hoax I've seen to date. But Trump didn't stop there. Nope. He set the narrative that the squat team is really leading the Dems/house.
7. He tied those 4 socialists around the neck of the Democrat party and nervous Nancy so well that there is no way they can disavow them. Both efforts would have been effective enough for a normal person but not Trump. He continued setting the narrative. While ....
8. .....the house leadership jet sets away to Italy, Trump goes on the offensive again. Pointing out that West Baltimore is a shithole. While Cummings is eating in 5 star restaurants and seeing the sights of Rome, Trump is calling out his failure at home. Now people are...
9. .....talking about how big a shithole West Baltimore is. The defenders are saying it's not as big a shithole as Trump is saying, others are saying, no, it's even a bigger shithole than what Trump is saying. Whichever is true, the conversation is about how bad a shithole it is
10. ....and how Cummings is more concerned with the border, Trump's tax returns, and prescription drug prices than if his voters have running water and can live in a non rat infested place. Now, for most people setting that narrative would be a job well done and they would....
11. .....call it a day, not Trump. He continues with his narrative building by linking Nervous Nancy to it. You see, she oversees a shithole district also. He also calls out her use of the race card. There will be others. This is an evolving narrative. Trump's not done here.
12. This isn't to say that the left with their fake media can't set their own narrative that their zombies will believe. They can and do. For instance the left pushed several narratives this month. The top three are
1. Trump is a racist
2. Trump is a criminal
3. Chaos at border
13. The difference is, before Trump, any one of those three would have been the political death of the person the media was targeting. All three together? Political exile never to be seen again worse than what Bush is going through. However, with Trump all three have almost no...
14.......effect on his support. Sure, they have some on keeping his support capped but none on those that continue to support him. Why is this? Because Trump is fighting back with his own POV/narrative. The difference is that Trump's narratives are more fact based.
15. In the month of July. Trump has had many narratives. His top 4, I would say are:

1. Patriotism vs Anti-Americanism
2. Border is being secured
3. Dems had nothing, now they have less than nothing.
4. Dems would rather talk fake impeachment than fix their shitholes.
16. There are others he is working on like USMCA passage, the economy, employment etc but those 4 have grabbed the attention with the Squat team fight, the 4th celebration, the epic fail of Mueller, the agreements with Mexico and Guatemala, SCOTUS ruling on border wall funds.
17. This is what a political battle looks like and what has been missing for the last several decades. This is how u change things not by community organizing but by fighting the political battles once they are organized, by directing Battle after battle, by shaping the narrative
18. For 30 years nothing changed and the country went into a "managed declined". Patriotism was lost, borders were erased, laws were ignored, all because no one would engage in a political battle. How many times did we hear "this is not the hill to die on" over those years?
19. Trump fights not only on every hill but in every valley. He fights on every point. He engages on every issue that he thinks is important. He is reshaping the country and trying to make America great again and the left are upset because he is being successful at it.

I know there has been so much propaganda and attempts to disparage it, but I still believe in free speech. Not just the act of being able to say what you want when you want, but the POWER of free speech. The ability to entertain ideas that are different than the group.
Free speech allows a society to have a vaccine against propaganda. It allows mutations of dangerous speech into a less dangerous idea. It gives an outlet for people who are angry, pissed off, afraid. It exposes hate speech for what it is with no need for some censor to ban it.
It allows new ideas, new thoughts, new protests. It allows a populous to ask for a Redress of their grievances so that they are not required to take up arms to find a compromise. It allows for an informed population that can make more knowledgeable decisions. It speeds up the

When and if truth social becomes available to us, I'll probably move over there but keep this account until they ban me. I joined Twitter a couple years back to see Trump's tweets without the filter of the MSM, but all I got here is more censorship.
I'm not real big on social media in general. Twit is the only one I engage in to any degree and mostly it's to get information and have discussion. Since twit has decided to limit the info I can get, it's only because of those that follow me that I keep coming back.
I do enjoy interacting with all of you, I always say I have the best group of followers on twit. It rare in this day and age that people can have polite conversations even when we disagree, but the vast majority of the people in my timeline do this regularly.

I don't know many things. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I also know many things. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I'm confident that what I know is true, yet intelligent enough to understand maybe some of it isn't. However, not knowing is not a reason to be paralyzed into inaction.
You have one life to live in this world. You can do whatever you want with it, maybe. It's known that there are people out there that like nothing better than to try to take your life & make it their own by telling you how to live it. You can of course follow their wishes/orders.
You can also tell them to go fuck themselves. Of course telling these people is not enough because they will still think and act as if they own you. At that point you have to make some type of decision. Do you submit and follow along? Do you withdrawal and hope they ignore you?

Society in every state is a blessing, but government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one; for when we suffer, or are exposed to the same miseries by a government, which we might expect in a country without government,
...our calamity is heightened by reflecting that we furnish the means by which we suffer. Government, like dress, is the badge of lost innocence; the palaces of kings are built on the ruins of the bowers of paradise. For were the impulses of conscience clear, uniform, and
...irresistibly obeyed, man would need no other lawgiver; but that not being the case, he finds it necessary to surrender up a part of his property to furnish means for the protection of the rest; and this he is induced to do by the same prudence which in every other case advises

So, not sure if I had covid, think I did. Had all the symptoms but well I don't know for sure. Still it's been about 3 weeks. I wouldn't call The bug I had mild. I hate to get sick. First week was the worse. Fever, chills, sore throat, headache from hell, weak, wasn't hungry
....muscle aches. You know the typical stuff you get from a flu or a cold. The last two weeks had sinus trouble and unproductive cough, couldn't sleep much because of both. Just couldn't get comfortable, sore throat was the worst though. Trouble swallowing and drinking.
Taste buds rebelled, they are still on strike, but today I felt almost 99% normal. The bug seems to come and go in waves. Some days over the last 3 weeks I felt fine. Not 100% but good enough then I'll wake up and be miserable the next day. Strange bug.

Leftists are not capitalists.

I say this simple truth over and over, but for some reason many people don't get it. They don't believe it. They can't wrap their heads around it. They just will not see. Not sure how to explain it any easier. Leftists are not capitalists.
Sure, they may live with, use, and enjoy the trappings of capitalism. They may enjoy having plentiful food, nice homes, indoor plumbing, energy on tap, cellphones, the internet, streaming movies channels, social media platforms, etc etc etc
But see here is the thing. Well, a couple of things. One, they don't really believe deep down in their souls that most of those things they have are due to capitalism. Most think they can have all of those things without capitalism and to a certain degree they are right.
