Some reporters have shared this out like it's objective news without context

It's a blatant PR piece by Sam Patten to redeem Patten, & leaves out a lot of damaging info

Lyrical prose softens Konstantin Kilimnik - he lied to Patten, maybe accidentally🙄

The article is full of purple prose gushing over Kilimnik with a few careful critical comments about him and about himself/Patten

"I would get the sense he found my idealism touching, if also naive...In him, I saw someone who had been overlooked and underappreciated."

After past few years w/foreign interests trying to buy positive media stories (thru Flynn, Manafort, etc) it's discouraging to see story shared without context/disclaimers

The US-Russia meeting about a Ukraine peace plan not only excluded Ukraine, a main focus is restoring US/Russia relations.

Kremlin spokesman Peskov said talks would be focused on “restoring the entire range of U.S.-Russian relations" as well as Ukraine.
