In a 2017 complaint, later settled in 2018, Groff was described as being in charge of coordinating schedules for Epstein and his underage victims, in charge of travel arrangements for the girls, tended to their living needs, and kept them appraised of the "rules."

Groff was also named alongside co-conspirators, Sarah Kellen, Nadia Marcinko, and Adriana Ross in the 2008 non-prosecution agreement.
