1. When Jesus came into the earth there were a lot of political, social, economic problems. Israel expected a political saviour and all the possible solutions, but Jesus the Christ knew that his priority was the salvation of the human heart. #SoulWinning
2. The quality of our world will never be better than the quality of man. Man was created to have dominion but when he rebelled against God, something went wrong. Something went wrong with the world because something went wrong with the man. #SoulWinning
3. The redemption of the man is the redemption of creation. Jesus went for the Man: “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men – I will give you capacity to catch men; to influence men.” #SoulWinning
4. Influencing men is the greatest assignment on this planet (Matt 4:19). When you are a true follower of Christ you will prioritize the transformation of human beings. #SoulWinning
5. When you are a true follower of Christ whatever your vocation is on this planet, influencing men to be godly, to be free from the nature of sin and to the have the nature of God will be your priority. #SoulWinning
6. The impact that you make on human lives will last till eternity. What an investment! Paul says the love of Christ compels and drives us – if one person died; he died on behalf of everybody’’. #SoulWinning
7. Paul says in 2Cor. 5:16-17 (NIV); “So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!” #SoulWinning
8. If you are a true follower of Christ, you will prioritize the transformation of the human soul. There is no greater miracle than for a person to lose the nature of sin that he was born with and to take on the nature of God. #SoulWinning
9. Sin is a nature. We are not sinners because we sin; we sin because we are sinners. Sinning is natural for every human being born on this planet. #SoulWinning
10. So Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3, you inherited a sin nature. Except a man is born again, he cannot inherit the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. #SoulWinning
11. Jesus told him that he must be born of the Spirit. In John 8, Jesus told the people of his day that, “ you are true children of your father – the devil” (John 8:44). So if any man be in Christ he is a new creature, the old nature has passed away. #SoulWinning
12. On the outside you look the same but on the inside, there is a transformation. As the nature of God grows within us, we are transformed into being like God, thinking like God. We have capacity for love, forgiveness and Joy. #SoulWinning
13. Now that our relationship with God is on course, we have a responsibility to help others achieve this standing with God; reconciling them to God (2Cor. 5:18-19). #SoulWinning
14. We’ll draw on a story in the bible in John 4, a conversation that typically would not have happened between Jesus and a Samaritan woman. We have to share the good news with others, to do this, we must do the following: #SoulWinning
15. Build bridges to be able to get across to them. When your heart is filled with the love of God, you must let go of your prejudices. So, will you be the one to build bridges to reach across to people who don’t belong to your tribe, race or class? #SoulWinning
16. Engage people. Jesus initiated a conversation with the woman at the well despite the existing prejudices. #SoulWinning
17. Start from their point of focus or areas of interest. Water was the main focus of that woman; Jesus started from that point. Talk with strangers on topics that are important to them. Get into their world. #SoulWinning
18. Christ touched on her pain point; it was marriage, and from there he ultimately turned her focus to God. We need to be interested in people and be good listeners in order to know their pain points. #SoulWinning
19. I prophesy in the name of Jesus Christ that as you commit to sharing the Good news of freedom from sin with others, the power of the Holy Spirit will come on you, every time you speak, the spirit of God will fill you and the power of God will be activated. #SoulWinning
20. The Gifts of the spirit will operate through you. I pray that as you take care of other people’s lives, restoring them to God, the power of God will perfect everything that has to do with you. The day we will stand before God, it will be a joyful day for you. #SoulWinning

The military coup in Niger draws attention to Africa’s leadership issues. The leaders of the coup have cited security concerns due to threats by jihadist groups and poor economic growth as reasons for the coup. Similar reasons were given for the military coups in Burkina Faso and… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
The regional body, ECOWAS, insists the coup must end and the former president must be returned to power. They say democracy remains the best form of government. But a large number of Nigeriens are taking sides with the leaders of the coup.
It is sad that neither military, democratic nor monarchical systems have fostered rapid development in most African countries. It’s time we address the real problem.

When trusting God for your finances:
1.CENTRE YOUR THINKING ON THE FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST
“You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich”. (2 Corinthians 8:9 NLT)
You are rich already. Meditate on it. Let it sink into your soul and spirit. WHAT YOU BELIEVE DETERMINES WHO YOU BECOME. SHAKE OFF THOSE DANGEROUS LABELS SOCIETY HAS PLACED ON YOU (MASSES, COMMON MAN, etc.). The major difference between the rich and the poor is what they think.
2.GET DIVINE DIRECTION
Your greatest asset is the voice of The Shepherd (Psalm 23: 1-2, 5-6).
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me”. (John 10:27)
Develop the capacity to hear God. It’s one of your greatest assets as a child of God.

1. To destroy worry on money issues as a believer in Christ, make a conscious decision to never value money more than you value God. Christ made the choice in the face of temptation and angels came to attend to His needs. God’s wisdom and power will resolve your money needs.
2. “You can't worship two gods at once. Loving one god, you'll end up hating the other. Adoration of one feeds contempt for the other. You can't worship God and Money both.” (Matthew 6:24 The Message)
3. “Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.” (Matthew 6:33 The Message)

1. I was in Chicago, Illinois, to speak at a conference several years ago. Something caught my attention on the highway. I drew the attention of my hosts to the quality of a truck full of cows and remarked that, sadly, a lot of humans in Africa could not enjoy such quality.
2. As we approach a new year, we should consider the overall prospects of improvement in the condition of the average African and ask ourselves; will (not “can”) democracy deliver economic development in Africa?
3. Why is it that African countries with democratic governments move more towards being authoritarian? We must admit that in terms of leadership, there are major differences between the cultural values of Africans and those of countries that have developed with democracy.

1.Why is it predictable that when you throw your phone up it would come down? How come you get the same result everywhere on our planet? This scenario confirms the reality of a principle: gravity. Can success be predictable? #success
2. Some cultures value principles more than others. You know you’re part of a culture that does not value principles by the level of impunity (living above the law/policies). Acting above the law is proof of power. It is celebrated and rewarded.
3. Fairness will be rare in such a culture. Power, wealth and opportunities will concentrate in the hands of a few. Crisis will be more predictable than progress. You should be concerned if you’re part of such a culture.

1.I desperately needed a legal document (Power of Attorney), while we were on vacation in Florida several years ago. I got stressed up trying to figure out how to get it. #values #NewNigeria
2.Then I called my cousin, a Nigerian-American, for advice. He said, “Calm down, Sam. This is America. Someone has helped you to think about it. Go to Staples. You will see it there, along with other documents. Just fill in the blanks.” #values
3.He continued; “This culture values convenience and innovating to make things easy for you. If you want to do anything here and it’s getting complicated, take that as a sign you are going off track. The issue is no longer the problem. The problem is your mindset”. #values
