I don’t know who’s advising Warren, but laying out all these plans with little to no history of fighting for them before running for president isn’t a good look. It seems disingenuous and fake af. Why haven’t you written any legislation for these plans before now @ewarren
It’s puzzling to me that a senator who’s been in office since 2012 waits until now to have all these big plans and roll outs. Some of these plans are great, but where is the fight for them before now? How am I to believe these plans will become bills or laws?
Honestly, she should have focused on her economic strengths and made that her campaign focus. She’s got credibility in that arena. The economy isn’t all that great and the tax scam has hurt many. That campaign focus would have been clutch.
I don’t believe any of this civil rights justice reforms she’s talking about is a real focus or issue for her. She’s not a fighter in any area other than economics. It’s why she flip flops so much on everything else. There’s no rooted activism and passion in her past or present.
I want Warren to answer for a lot, not her team, but her. Many people get on Sanders a lot about his lack of connection to black issues. He gets judged a lot on how he speaks on black life but give Warren a pass on how bad she is in that area. I don’t understand why.

Hear me now, quote me later, but the right/conservative shift y’all are about to see in every day people in America is going to be swift. This isn’t a new phenomenon. It’s in response to how our government is moving. People are trying to blend in and preserve themselves.
Celebrities, universities, corporate brands, social media influencers, your neighbors, your relatives, every day people will start talking and behaving in line with our current political climate. It’s already started. I be prepared for a different America, it won’t be pretty.
I said this back in January. I know enough history to know, most people will stand by silently to preserve themselves, or join in the chorus, thinking it’s going to save them. We’ve all seen this movie before, we know how it ends.
Someone a lot smarter than me on this topic articulated it better, but when they said people’s relationship with God and religion is rooted in abuse, so when we receive it from others, we see it as love, this is a good example.
I do not, it will not serve a God that believes giving me a stroke is a blessing. That harmful outcomes are lessons that I need to be taught for my betterment. That is not a god of benevolent love. I fully reject that type of love and care.
I wish I could find that thread to credit the person. They were linking people worshiping a god who they thank for punishment, their parents that beat them because they love them, to toxic relationships with romantic partners, then blame themselves for what happens to them.
I’mma say the hard thing. Kamala Harris did not lose the election because of racism and misogyny. That was a negligible reason at best. Rashida Talib, Ilhan Omar, and Summer Lee all won their seats in swing states VP Harris lost. Sit with the real reasons why she lost.
I know it’s easier to brush it off as racism and sexism. Going back on her own positions on immigration, min wage, health care and committing a genocide, and her saying she wouldn’t change a thing from Biden other than having Republicans in her cabinet, it wasn’t smart.
She started moving to the right of Trump or adopted some of his policies on the wall, climate change, fracking and was to the right of fucking Ronald Reagan, and Bush Jr on Israel!
I have high thoughts on how The US failure to do what needed to be done post Civil War, directly lead us to WW2 and Nazi’s, to the War on Terror, which brought us exactly where we are today with an open genocide. I wanna give y’all a History lesson to tie it all together so bad.
Jim Crow and Chatel Slavery in America pre-dates Nazis’s. It goes deeper than that. Hitler and his ideas from The US, which had the largest group of Nazi supporters outside of Germany during World War II. JStore won’t let me link, but here’s this time.com/5414055/americ…
This isn’t a conspiracy theory. I’m drawing a direct line from one historic event to today. I also happen to be high as fuck off Connecticut’s finest cannabis, so I’m in a zone. 😂 Anywho, more non JStore links about Jim Crow inspiring Nazi’s history.com/news/how-the-n…
Y’all ever think about how people really got fired from their jobs because they refused to get the covid vaccine, and we had to have vaccination cards to go places, but now masks are being banned and now you can even send your kids to school with lice and diarrhea? I do.
I know people need to pretend that the past 4 years didn’t happen, because that’s how they cope, but I can’t. It affected me on a visceral level. I think that’s my problem. I’m genuinely trying to process and understand while everyone else wants to pretend like it didn’t happen.
Or y’all pretend everything is over and that’s why we keep going in circles and nothings being resolved. You can’t fix what you don’t see or pretend isn’t there. Meanwhile, the rest of us feel like we’re living in the upside down. We can’t pretend, some of us lost loved ones.
I think the reason why so many people are struggling with Black Americans being an ethnicity and multi-cultural within itself, is because it’s been exported and consumed as a product, not peoples real culture. Y’all “put us on” as a costume. Mixing up AAVE dialects like Starfire.
Because we’ve been “consumed” people don’t realize that we have regional cultures, from language, to music, fashion and even food. Black people from Montgomery, Alabama and Jackson, Mississippi are all Afam ethnically, but have different subcultures.
I know this is difficult for a lot of you, but an example is me and @MoreAndAgain are both Black American’s, but her NY accent is different from my SC one. We share a lot of the same AfAm traditions, but our music and fashion is different. Race, culture and ethnicity intersects.
